A Rainy Day At EPCOT | Flower & Garden Hype, Trying To Ride Frozen & Breakfast At The Boardwalk

In today's vlog I head over to Disney's EPCOT to see what it looks like in between festivals. The International Festival of the Arts just ended and now they are getting ready for the Flower and Garden Festival. The topiaries are out and they're pretty impressive. We got to to see the new Beauty and the Beast topiary as well. It was pretty rainy so I thought I would try to get a ride on Frozen Ever After but the rain didn't slow the line down unfortunately. Then I wanted to see what kind of breakfast I could find in the park or in the near by hotels. I ended up on the Disney's Boardwalk and had a quick serve breakfast at the Boardwalk Bakery. It wasn't terrible but it wasn't great. All in all I had a pretty productive rainy day and it wasn't half bad because I was at Disney! Thanks for watching and we'll see you tomorrow with a new vid!

The topiaries are so much more detailed than they used to be! In our old pictures, there is hardly any detail in the faces! Love how detailed they have gotten! Gotta love those Disney birds lol! Thanks for sharing and updating!

Official Disney lore states he was never named beyond "Beast" for the animated version. Prince Adam was a fan creation. With the live action movie just around the corner, we will see if Disney keeps the fan name or goes for something new. :)

Great video, sorry you had to go in the rain. I did my video at home Wednesday morning. I will be returning to EPCOT on Sunday for my first time in three months. I will definitely be filming a few International Flower and Garden Festival videos this Spring for sure. EPCOT in my opinion has the best Disney events.

I love Epcot and the rain never bothers me when I am there! I sm missing Disney this year. But next year, I am going to plan on going for the Flower and Garden. Thanks for the video Tim! I am currently planning our Disney vacation for late august and this was interesting to see. Right now my plan is to uber to the boardwalk to get to the international gateway when park opening happens. We will jet to the boulangerie to get a quick breakfast and then hop in line for frozen. Hey Tim, speaking of that express bus service, have you heard the rumours about Disney having put in for planning permission to build some kind of mass transport system, possibly a gondola, between a few of the hotels and Epcot/Hollywood Studios?

Wow. That's a lot of rain. Rain is relaxing, though. It may sometimes be inconvenient, but it does add to the atmosphere of the parks, particularly in the more nature sections.

So that's where they are! When we were at Epcot, we were trying to find all of the topiaries, especially the beauty and the beast ones, and couldn't find them anywhere. Must have not gone over in that area.

Hey Tim if you ever want to have breakfast and you're at Epcot go to sunshine seasons in the land Pavilion they have a wonderful quick serve breakfast everyday, I think they serve breakfast until 11 a.m. or it might be 10 I'm not exactly sure but it is very good I've had it many times. Take care

When they were first building test track I worked for an outside company that did work on the ride. You should see how many vehicles are driving around 3 hours before the park opens. Contractor trucks, people in cars, segways, people on bicycles. It looks like a city street at mid day. We paid for the express buses for 7 days while we were there 3 weeks ago. We used it twice and didn't bother after that. The parks weren't crazy busy when we were there so we found it easier using our car. We were staying at Wilderness Lodge so the parking is free at the various parking lots. I could see where there is probably an advantage using the express buses when they are busy. The one stop the buses made I thought made sense was in Animal Kingdom. There they pick you up all the way back by the Safari Ride so it saves you from having to walk out to the front of the park to get on the bus.

Always love going to Epcot via the International gateway.... Park @ Boardwalk, then walk it over to either HS or Epcot.. really miss Jenn on the adventuresome to the parks.... but I enjoy the single Tim adventures ..

Hey, if you guys ever feel like splurging on breakfast sometime, the breakfast buffet at the Dolphin is amazing. I think it's around $35 or so, but they had delicious cooked-to-order omelets, a yogurt parfait bar, and a juice bar where they make your juice out of the fruit on the spot. I always stay at the Dolphin when I go to WDW, and last time I decided to splurge on the breakfast as a special treat the first day, but it was so good I ended up buying it every day I was there! Thanks again for the awesome videos!!!

Pretty good breakfast foods at an okay value at the Land pavillion, downstairs counter service. Of course character breakfast on revolving dining table service upstairs.

If looking for breakfast in Epcot, I would suggest Sunshine Seasons in future world or France's Boulangerie bakery. I particularly like the Boulangerie since they will have things like quiche (which to me is a brunch item), if you want breakfast in the afternoon. I find the bakery to be above average in quality while being fairly priced.

The bird houses are for Purple Martins. They're mostly made out of gourds and the almost solely depend on them now for their nesting sites. People have been making them and caring for the Martins for generations now. Most of the time they have the ability to lower the gourds down like a flag on a flag pole so they can see when they've laid eggs as well as see if they have hatched and then clean them out at the end of the year. Pretty cool stuff. Even Sir David Attenborough did a scene on them in the Life of Birds, so it must be worth something haha! Anyway, thanks Biology Degree for your knowledge! Y'all are awesome!!

Just came back from Disney last week and stayed at the Beachclub. If you are ever looking for breakfast in that area again, go into Beachclub and go into the Market Place...they make egg sandwiches and have breakfast platters...food is pretty reasonable and it is really good. Cape May, I believe requires reservations as they do a character breakfast there..we went and the food was ok...

The bird houses were for housing Purple Martins, which are one of the best natural bug deterrents. The Purple Martins diet is comprised of strictly bugs. Cheers!

I'm an annual passholder and haven't been able to get on the Frozen ride since it opened. The fast passes are never available. I take with my nieces (frozen obsessed) and nephew, but the line has always been over 2 hours (worst time was 250 minutes). They can't stand in line that long. I'm hoping sometime this summer we'll make it if we get there early enough.

I miss Maelstrom..I loved when you stand outside you can see the boat coming out of the hole which made the riders think they were going to drop out of it. Sadly they got rid of that feature when they built frozen 😩 I wish they would figure out another plan for the line of frozen, because later in the day I've seen it up to 5+hours
