Finally an update on Tiger family. They are growing rapidly,i think in few months they'll surpass their mother in terms of size. Love from india and your efforts are great ❤

Where are the hunting videos??? And by that, I mean legit hunting videos. Not the one or two you released of an injured or drugged prey animal getting killed. smh

The tigers here do a lot of their hunting at night. We will be spending more time out at night and diving into the nocturnal habits of the tigers. hunting videos aren't easy to get but definitely a goal

We also definitely do not drug any prey animals for our tigers to hunt. They live wild lives and its up to them to feed themselves, defend territories, mate and raise cubs which they successfully do.

@@tigercanyonsa I want to believe you, but one of the videos you did post of a kill looked awfully suspicious, the way the prey animal was staggering around in a disoriented fashion *_before_* the tiger(s) even attacked.

@@Cosmo-Kramer We can assure you that there is none of that going on here. Our aim with this youtube channel is to showcase what Tiger Canyon really is, not how it is perceived to be, We spend countless hours out in the field with these cats and have great plans for this channel. Tigers hunting is a difficult task to capture, we believe our tigers do a lot of hunting at night here so that is going to mean following them at night to be able to capture these moments. Watch this space :)

@@tigercanyonsa Lions are every bit as much nocturnal hunters as tigers are, and yet there are a plethora of videos online of lions hunting during the day in Africa. You've had a quarter century to capture similar daylight hunting footage of your tigers, and haven't. I will believe it when I see it.

A white tiger is a man made creation. Why is he there? Why are any of them there?

This is one of the most beautiful experiences to witness tigers in Africa!! I pray they bring and breed more! Plenty of land for them to populate

Is this really a necessary conservation project though and plus the White Tigress is a result of possible inbreeding and that could spell doom
@tigercanyonsa
@tigercanyonsa 3 ай бұрын
Yes it is necessary...there are more tigers in captivity than in the wild plus the human population explosion has resulted in loss of natural tiger habitat. The white tiger is not a result of inbreeding.

@@tigercanyonsa At least that individual White Tiger in the video right ? ....... With all do respect i am just being honest ....... As an animal lover who wants to see these Tigers prosper ....... As long as none of them are in bred bloodlines ....... I am okay with this also only because ....... Tigers are the Number 1 endangered Wild Felines on Earth ...... It at least does not look as tough and as bad ...... as bringing back Cheetahs to india :-)

@@tigercanyonsa As long as that Individual White Tigresses parents were not related at all and she was a natural rare accurance through her kind than i respectfully have no problem with the project as long as the Tigers were also quarantined for a time before realease to prevent foreign animal sickness so overall i just want these majestic felines to prosper since they are also the number 1 endangered wild cat on earth

Hello I came here after watching the documentary about ron and julie and how they were trained and released into the wild. After searching a lot I couldn't find any updates about them. I'm sure as wild tigers have much shorter lifespan they have probably passed away but what I wanted to know is that did they successfully breed and do their lineages continue in the tiger canyon? If someone could tell me what happened to them and are the tigers currently living in tiger canyon are their descendants? And how many tigers are currently living in tiger canyon and are all of them descendants of ron and julie or new tigers were introduced in the park? Thank you

Julie passed away in 2013 I believe. She was 14 years old, so lived a good age for a tiger. The white tigress you see in the video is a daughter of Julie and another founding male tiger named ''Seatao.'' Julie had 3 litters at tiger canyons (10 cubs I think in total) so her genes very much live on. Her brother Ron (who died aged 11) also sired cubs with a founding female named ''Shadow'', so his genes also live on at Tiger Canyons.
