We had a spare 30 minutes during our latest trip to Warwickshire, so we stopped by a shopping park and nipped into some charity shops, The Range and Asda Living (plus an obligatory Costa coffee stop!)

Here in America Christmas stockings for the whole family (adult children included) is a huge thing. We love doing Christmas stockings. It's just not Christmas without them for everyone.

Absolutely!! Did y'all get your stockings on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day? We always got ours on Christmas Eve and we got to open one present which was always new pajamas. We also lived for a decade in both London and Dallas because of my Dad's job so we always had the Christmas crackers, usually from Harrods, to pop before our Christmas dinner. And yes, Mom always made us wear the paper crowns and have pictures taken every time. You know - when I was a teenager I felt kinda embarrassed about that but I turn 50 in less than a month and I would pretty much do anything to have one more Christmas dinner like we used to have.

You complement each other nicely, which is part of the appeal. Three ideas for videos: (1) Each of you do an "I have never_______ed, but I'm about to. (A challenge, a risk, a bucket list item that you fear, etc.) (2) Select an activity that only she likes. Do it together. In the same video, select an activity that only he likes. Do THAT together. (3) Visit either a Greek restaurant and describe the food (+amazing desserts & coffee), or visit a Greek or other ethnically specific festival.

That's a lovely thing to hear about your former cleaner. Years ago I helped my elderly friend with running errands, taking her places, straightening her house ect. She was a horder and I am an organizer type person, so I unhorded her house, and organized it. I found cash all over the place, and if I were a dishonest person I would have been sitting pretty. It was a LOT of money.

I don't know why people are getting their underwear in a twist over trans people lately. For God's sake this is the end of 2022, not 1222. And it's not like they just started doing it this year, it's been going on for such a very long time.
