We need to have prisons and jails like this in the US. Ones that are focused around rehabilitation, ones that give you a chance and try to teach you what you need to learn to function correctly in society, if every prison and jail took this attitude to some degree wed almost definitely have way less crime

this is a low security prison. No one rarely gets to see the hardcore prisoners in France. Also, your statement that you have zero rights and privileges is a blatant lie. Not defending the US prison system or anything, but seriously that statement is so untrue.
@nonyabiznessses1025 жыл бұрын
It is luxurious compared to MANY united states prisons. Where were you locked up? It varies a bit. You do lose many things once you go to jail, but it does depend upon which prison, which state, the severity of the crime, how you behave. Not defending the US, the prison system is corrupt, but it is likely worse in most of the rest of the world.

Or, when someone is convicted, they are put on a large barge style boat, the type they sail out into the ocean to dump trash. boat would hold a few hundred prisoners. Boat gets into international waters, and the guards and the sailors get off onto another boat. Prisoners are now free, but never allowed to ever again come to France. Cuba did this. works.

America is such a low bar that most countries(probably like 95%) go over it. 18 Million Americans live in absolute poverty.
