Old disabled house bound dusty rusty rockhound here: This adventure was so much fun! Matrix is the star, as always. Those are my kind of "crunch berries." Geologically exciting area! What a treat!

You too?? I wish I could go find rocks in these places!! AND THEY HAVE A LONG HAIRED DOXIE! I became disabled in 2008. Before that, I was training horses, teaching kids, cleaning mansions, hiking, camping, and everything..... I miss that so _SOOO_ much!!!

@emilymalin5304 Sorry that happened to you! It sure changes things, huh? Thank goodness we have people like Bryan who allow us to participate via video! May happiness and good fortune smile upon you, Emily. Remember, they can take the girl out of the rockhunt, but they can't take the rockhunt out of the girl! I hope you keep rockhunting, even if it's on Etsy or at the jewelry store!

According to old records from Sunbury County, New Brunswick, Canada, there was a topaz occurrence in my area. Not sure of the precise location but I'm guessing it's just south of the Blissville area. The geological surveys indicated a volcanic occurrence that basically covers the entire province.
@TheCrystalCollector Жыл бұрын
Oh wow, may be a spot to go to Prospect!
@GimmeOo-mox Жыл бұрын
I'm hoping so, we have all sorts of great occurrences here. The biggest being jasper, I think. This topaz occurrence looks to have been either forgotten about or it just wasn't producing good quality gems. Either or, I'll keep trying to locate the exact spot and go have a look see. Great vid today btw. Keep on keeping on my friend.

It was around a couple of hundred dollars, I don’t talk about prices because mines can go up each year on their pricing especially with inflation these days. So it might be more next year, but I did very well, I found 5 to 6 times what I paid.
