Sorry! I lost my puppy I`d had since I was 2 years old when I was age 17. He always waited on me at the school bus stop but wasn`t there that day. I went looking for him and my uncle told me he was bitten by a snake. Oddly enough a guy looking to sell a set of drums dialed the wrong number and my uncle handed me the phone when I arrived and I got my first drums that evening which changed my entire life.

Very Informative Mitch and entertaining!!!! Love your sense of humor you inject in two your talk!!!! In VA beach area we have not had a large snow storm since 2017!! That one was pretty rough with high wind!! Don't need the high wind, sleet or freezing rain due to the trouble it caused power outages!! Misrable time with that!!! Straight snow with no wind and no sleet no freezing rain!! Would be nice!

Man I was looking forward to seeing your updates tonight. Since I volunteer at the local high school, I don’t get a chance to watch your morning video. I know you can’t do this all the time, but I absolutely love it. And I lived in Toronto for 3 years, so I know how to handle winter weather. It gets so bitter cold in Toronto, you have to use their “Sky Walks” which is basically covered overpass through downtown Toronto. Almost each skyscraper is linked to the sky walk including shopping malls and grocery stores. Great video, and I’m just like you because I absolutely love winter weather. I do not like the summer, I don’t like heat and I don’t like hurricanes and humidity. But that ice storm looks really bad, especially when people don’t know what it is. Lights will be out, and a host of other disasters. Hopefully we get all snow, but I don’t know. Thanks 🙏🏾 Mitch

I know just how you feel Mitch. In Chattanooga we get ripped all the time as far as winter weather goes. They get it in Nashville all the time, and Memphis. It makes me so mad sometimes, and my wife always tells me, why do you worry about what you can’t control, and I know she’s right, but it still makes me mad when it happens all the time

Because they only are fed the sum of all models, they only care to get in front of the camera and keep everyone calm. Notice the snow even in apps doesn’t pop up in the apps till it is already snowing 🌨️

And the very cold air is still going to be with us a while since there might be a brief spell of milder temperatures at the end of this month, to be followed by more very cold Arctic Air again in Feb. according to the long range outlook which remains to be seen.

It’s almost like no models can really truly agree with each other. At least with the last system the GFS and Euro were both taking the same generalized track. So many variables that play into winter weather and tracking it which makes so it so tricky.

I like winter winter weather - i had worked high mountain oilfields at times were it drops to minus 60 at night often enough - I live in the deep south in a rural area - when we get liquid ice or wet snow it knocks the power out - the last time we saw this kind of weather was in the 1980s it never got below thecteens but in 83 it got down to 0°F - up till the 1980s most had wood heaters for power outages or after storms they dont deliver propane or kerosene - All the young people have all electric homes today with no back up heat - my guess is with all the downed trees along with all the shorted out insulators we could have the power knocked out for weeks down here in the south - our grid can not handle any ice at all - In my case i have wood heat that i use and propane and heat oil heaters for back up when the power is out - The electric heater comes on when the wood fire dies down - after i go to sleep - When the south gets that ice rain it knocks the grid out like it did in Texas - its going to be difficult for many people - there will be a lot of deaths also -
