Something about so beautiful all the black&white scenes are actually Mito, he blacked out during recording and switched to Mito. it was the first time they could film him and later Christian saw him for the first time. he made those scenes black and white so we can recognize their differences

Loved the reaction!! So, about Ian's storyline... Ian has said that he and his team had a clear vision basically from the beginning with "So Beautiful" (his first solo song in the storyline) on the storyline and how it would go. Now he has said that some things have changed and evolved in the story as he has as a person grown because the storyline is based on his real life feelings and struggles. The reason these songs and MVs have such a different feel than the first songs you checked out is because it is a different character/album (exept for SKINS). This album is all about Mito, his darker side and "dips" with his bipolar. Now that also goes along with his DID as well because Ian has said that he has literally blacked out when switching to Mito. He said the first time he ever caught it on camera and could see Mito was with the "So Beautiful" MV. So anytime the video is black and white, that's Mito. That is also shown more recently in SKINS where we literally see Mito in real life, not in the storyline. Ian said that song is more of a one off not in the story and just Mito in his truest real form. And what you saw in most of the first videos you watched is Mr. Insanity's story, which is actually a prequel to this album (It gets very confusing I know). The reason these songs/ videos seem "less crazy" is because this is more of how Mito is all the time in the story, just dark and objective almost. Whereas Mr. Insanity is all flashy and insane in comparison, which is why his videos reflect that. I strongly recommend you watch Ian's "documentary" video he put out for this album on KZbin. It gives an amazing insight into how the songs and videos came together and the meaning behind them all. Once again, loved the reaction and I hope you check out more DPR music in the future!!

@@douglastjchewOh yea and a quick warning, the video does cover all the songs on his album and plays parts of the songs. So if you don't want to spoil parts of the album for yourself I'd recommend listening to it first. But if not, hey you'll get a really good preview! 😂

Something about so beautiful almost scared me when i first saw it. I thought it was literally 2 people, and was confused whether DPR ian was a duo or 1 person. It's now 2 years later, and I'm deep into the lore. I live how i literally went from being scared to fascinated.
