A reading of Famille: a new fifteen minute musical. Book by Stephen Michael Langton, music and lyrics by Aaron Albert and Katy Rea. With Kelsey Lake as Cecile, Kerri George as Angelique, Victor Legra as Announcer/Max, Kailey Marshall as Madame/Reporter/Armel and Samantha Grossman as Lucy. Part of Pace's Hatched: New Work in New York at Joe's Pub 5/5/12.
The show featured entirely new music written in the past three months by new musical theater composers, including Shaina Taub, Niko Tsakalakos, Gordon Leary and Julia Meinwald, Drew Gasparini, Zoe Sarnak, Ryan Scott Oliver and the students of Pace's Inaugural "Writing for the Musical Theatre" class.
