I'll also reread Wuthering Heights soon, it's on my fall TBR. I like how you summarized it, and can totally agree what you're saying about it not being a conventional "happy lovestory", but more an in-depth analysis of traumatic/destructive relationship dynamics. Oh there is a new movie adaptation? Have to google it right away! 😍 and a slightly frustrated "ok, time for being an adult" is literally me every day, when I have to start working and stop reading/writing, haha.. 😅 Thank you for this cozy vlog!

Wuthering Heights dives into sentiments of love and revenge all at once through mysteries of the past and unforgiveness portrayed by the main characters. The overarching element of this novel I believe it is the gothic atmosphere, which I like to see it as the choir director, and the choir would be the tragic narrative that accompanies the characters´ decadency and also their loss when it comes to love. One of my fav. classics of all time.

I love that you’re curious about it! I’d say start with some easier classics to get a feel of it to see if it’s something you’d enjoy, maybe classics like The Picture of Dorian Gray, Frankenstein, Little Women, these are amazing shorter books and great to get into classic literature 😊 thank you for watching 🫶
