In todays video we finally move the last few tanks off the floor which are going to turn in to yard aquariums. But to get there we have to go through catching a lot of fish and rehoming them. Lots of fish varieties and tips in this video. Which shows and proves what you can do with no filter natural setups. Hope you all enjoy! If you love clean Homebred top quality aquatics and rarities check out the site below. Thanks for watching! :D

Hey Lucas! Just love you and your business. I can’t stop ordering from your website lol - good thing tho! The green lil’ endlers arrived and are doing great. Just like all the shrimp over the past year also. Thank you for being such a good fish breeder and genuine great guy. You inspire me to begin my own fish/shrimp breeding business. I’ve learned SO much priceless info from you. Much gratitude to you Lucas Have a great day 🐟 ☀️ 🦐

Rice fish eat all the wigglers. If I move the parents every few weeks. Those tanks hatch out fry. The eggs I get off the egg mops usually take 2 weeks to hatch.

I've had the same thing happen with yellow tiger endlers! I ended up with a huge male that was just as big or bigger than the females. I chalked it up to just being a fluke, but it was pretty cool. You could definitely pick him out from the rest of the colony.

Isn't it just the best feeling to find new babies. I cannot wait for this spring (Australia) not far off now we really only had a month of cool weather this year and only really cool at nights days have been getting warm already and it's still officially winter another couple of months but I think this will be an early spring and a really hot season ahead. I can't wait to get a bunch of fish back outside. I'm going to to a CPD and emerald colony outside this year and leave them out they over wintered in the garage just fine I'm going to leave some groups out in big tubs from now on and a few other fish. I have kept them breeding in the garage over winter so far not as many babies but still getting them.

@@LRBaquatics I am planning on getting some mascara barbs soon just need to find another tank I finally have seen them for sale in Australia but not cheap, super rare here. I am going back to watch all your videos on them but can I ask you what is the smallest group I could start with 5 - 6? and would a 4 foot tank be ok for them to grow out in? Im planning on getting some 6 foot tanks as soon as I can find some. I also really want to try Denison barbs.

Lucas, I don't remember your endler guppy. I hope they have the 2 bars at the tail or a full tail. I also don't know if you have amber tetras. Your tank's are coming together. Please try to focus more on these fish.
@LRBaquatics
@LRBaquatics Жыл бұрын
I do have a couple ember tetras. Which endlers? I have both types for quite some time now. The lime green are like black bar wild types but bred more for the green color. The rainbow tiger endler is something I created years ago crossing tiger endler with bluestar endlers.

Sir. Good stuff as always if you go to 14:45 on the video. There is a long tank against the wall has light brown trim. What brand of tank is that.. I am in Miami.. met a guy who breed cichlids moved to Ocala. Gave me 2 tanks like that not as large but with same kind of trim. I have been looking all over just trying to identify. Thanks. And for all the fish advice also
@LRBaquatics

Yeah that trim used to be more common but now harder to find. Wish I knew the brand but someone had traded me that tank probably 6 yrs ago.

How?! Are you able to keep Hatchets without tank covers? I've tried and tried with covers to no avail. Jump jump jump! they all end up dried up on the floor. They get out of the smallest of open space.
@LRBaquatics
@LRBaquatics Жыл бұрын
The only reason they were good in the topless one was the fact the water level was low. The ropefish tank has a top because they are escape artist too. But they never really try. They seem to be comfortable in there which comfort is a big key!

That orange insect was an assassin bug. They basically have a big needle for a mouthpart which they inject saliva/venom so it hurts like blue blazes if you are bit, so don't pick up IMO.

do you clean fish poops or not? WHat is the most important thing to do in these filterless tank?ive been trying but never succeed.I breed guppy and keeping hornwort for fun
@LRBaquatics
@LRBaquatics 2 ай бұрын
I natural setups bacterias and other microorganisms break down the waste. Which no filter aquariums gives a diversity of microorganisms to establish better without being filtered through. Most important thing would be not to put a lid on them. Than after that is not to over clean them. You can clean them just best for your fish not to have sterile water.
