Just to get this out of the way, yes I am an INFJ. Whenever I see these videos or read the comments I always end up rolling my eyes because of the constant “ooooh INFJ’s so rare, so special..” its all just a little much don’t you think? Being an INFJ is extremely, extremely exhausting. I wish so much that I didn’t notice or perceive the things that I do. So many other types can go through an entire day or even conversation without having their brain analyze and pick apart every single word choice or fluctuation in tone of the person they are conversing with. Or worse yet, being able to instantly see that someone is lying or being deceiving then trying to explain what you’ve perceived to others and being met with blank stares and in the end not believed. Being an INFJ, for me at least, can be just too much. So to those heaping adoration upon INFJ’s just remember that the grass isn’t greener in the other side.

Yeah, I was wondering who the hell wants to be an INFJ?! 😅 It sucks to be misunderstood! 😓 At first I thought there's no way I'm an INFJ because it's "rare". Then I started to suspect that I am one. And then when I found out I am I was actually disappointed! 😅 I'm like... can life get any harder for me?! 😂

Klaudine Garcia Finding out your an INFJ is like eating cotton candy. It’s sweet when you first take a bite, but it upsets your stomach the more you eat. It’s probably really cringe worthy that I’m bringing this up, but I can relate it too Frozen 2. I love studying and discovering new things about myself, but sometimes the more you know, the more you hurt. “Dive too deep and you will drown”

For me, i like to take a walk in park without wearing any headphone or earphone because i like to observe the surrounding and that is the moment where my mind start going crazy with so much thought in my mind (basically I'm daydream while I'm walking because i got lost in my thought 😅). And just like Lana, i often wondering how's other people life? Are they happy? Are they sad? I wonder if their childhood is fun?. Sometimes when i saw beautiful things, instead of taking pictures of it (like normally people do), i will stop and admiring it. But i do agree with met someone that i know, i hate that. But i rarely met them in park nearby my house so it's fine.

When INFJs are around people, they actually do talk quite a bit if the environment calls for it since we have Fe as our second function. We are known chameleons who blend into our environment, so if others are being loud, we will instantly pick up on that and match the volume of the people around us. We can easily sense what's going on in our environment because we have Ni as our dominant function, so our two top functions work together beautifully in this way. This is why INFJs are so hard to type if you see them out and about.

Yeah I've been struggling with it for years, but I'm also shy and I feel like that's more the problem than me being an introvert. Anyway someone once said to me: it's good that there are quiet people who are good listeners. Imagine everyone wanting to be the center of attention, then we would probably not get anywhere. But still it's hard to completely accept the way we are. Hopefully we'll be able to, bit by bit.

Not at all really. It's been enlightend knowing how i really feel and function. Also what a lot of people don't see is that Introverted types are usually more succesful. Don't look at charts on salaries Look at all the entrepreneurs out there A good chunk guys that are on the forbes list are introverts. Bill Gates Elon Musk Waren Buffet But if you don't like business Creative people Look at a bunch of KZbinrs A lot of them are introverts aswell as they live in their on bubble. Be happy. It's a special thing. I don't like going with the grain I like going against it and doing it my own way. INTJ -_-

For a while I played the extrovert because I saw "shy" as a fault, and recently realized "shy" is a part of who I am. Definitely feels weird to accept. As long as you aren't staying stuck inside your comfort zone or being quiet out of fear I think we'll just have to accept that some people can't understand us - including teachers.

I've been yearning to be left alone. I can't seem to do anything when I know someone might be watching me when they're really not (my family. just my mom and sis). Idk I just feel drained when I'm with people even tho they're just my fam. I would love to have at least just a week alone by myself far away to sort myself out. I have lots of things I want to do and learn. But I just can't seem to do it when there are people. I don't have a room of my own so yeah. it sucks. but meh.

I loved an INFJ for 14 years. She was my wife and we had 5 kids. I am an ENFP and we enjoyed some of the best conversations one could hope for. But it’s over now and I miss her a great deal. I loved her immensely and gave all I knew how to give. I made mistakes along the way, and she could never let those go. Dear INFJs, do you Easy on the rest of us. Not everyone can manage to do things the way you do. Have mercy on us. Try to find the person who will always love you no matter what and see the value. Look for the person who is always happy to see you. Look for the person who you can so easily talk about everything and anything with. Love, forgive and start every day with a fresh opportunity to try to do better. I love the INFJ and wonder if I’ll ever feel right with any other, because she was my world and my life.

K B my ex now has an infp. According to her he’s emotionally safe. But she has also hinted that there is no “push back” and that the she misses the intellectual side. INFPs are lovely people in many ways. My middle child is one and she is very sweet and compliant. She is however flighty and though smart in her own ways, she is not the go to for intelligent conversation. Personally, I don’t want a person who is so laid back romantically. Some engagement and some sense of independent thought. INFPs are like the natural hippies of the world lol. They are wonderful grease to the gears also being that they go with the flow. I get along with them very well, but boy do they lack grounding. Forgive me, just my opinion 😀 I like opinionated people. My ex does too, until she doesn’t. She once got into a philosophy that I believed to be dangerous. I made that clear. She exclaimed “If you loved me, you would find out why I appreciate this instead of just attacking it!” Sometimes the person who loves you most will sound the alarm if they think you are headed for a cliff. At least that’s how I see it. Are you with an infp? Thanks for chatting with me! Ultimately a Romance needs a friendship at the core. Through the long term of any relationship, there are seasons... you can’t always feel romantic feelings. Life is full of twists and turns. Seek someone who will love you through it all and who will remain your best friend. My INFJ just couldn’t get back to “feeling” in love. And then she came up with every possible excuse to convince herself that divorce was the only way foreword. Suddenly, the two people who shared a 14 year deep conversation, connection on major likes and dislikes, shared 5 kids and much more were now “incompatible”. That makes no sense. In the end I feel she controlled the narrative and made up rules to fit her feelings as things went along. When I dig that up, I do feel the pain of it. If you promise someone your life, stick with it. There is no greater treachery than to abandon your post. Forgive my intensity... just an ENFP outputting my thoughts.
@thisisgeorge2117
@thisisgeorge2117 3 жыл бұрын
K B wow! I just loved hearing all that. So VERY INFJ. All the things I loved about my wife I just heard. But honestly with a more healthy perspective. I noticed you have considered the spiritual aspects. At one point she was the same, but her pursuits led her to atheism. I encountered my own struggles and deep questions and for a time was on the fence about spiritual things. But for me, when I look at the world, I see beauty. Beauty that reflects such subtle nuance and creativity. Chaos does not beget such order and boundless beauty. So, now my heart has turned back to my Faith. I am being restored even if I endure the pain of loss of my families undivided identity. She seems to find it easy to “fall in love” again and again. Not me though. My love is hard to break and though I love people easily, that deep and committed love that flowers from am initially romantically inclined love doesn’t spring up easily. I watched her do and say the same things to another, and it felt as though it defrauded what she had done with me in the past. I take love very seriously. I take vows and commitment with severity. I am not a perfect man. I fall and stumble and have my own struggles. My INFJ seemed to want some level of perfection that I was not yet, though I practically worshiped the ground she walked on. INFJs are wonderfully talented and deep people and I appreciate their many gifts. But try to recognize in others that we are equally as loving even if we do it differently. Remember also, that even if you are understood, that the person who loves you may still believe you to be in error. It’s ok to disagree... that’s part of being human and a free one at that. If ever you want to have a chat I would welcome it. I promise that I am able to talk about all the things you mentioned. My INFJ loved all of those topics. However, I may buck things. When it comes to science, I favor Tesla over Einstein. I tend to doubt very heavily modern science as I see a religion within it (scientism). I have my own deductive reasoning and study history carefully. I will not be told how or what to believe by men with white coats. 😋 It is truly nice to make your acquaintance! I am finding it stimulating and of a very good variety of conversation. Oh how I love deeper conversations. You don’t scare me at all!

INTJ here. I can relate to a lot of this living inside my head and pondering about what goes on behind the scenes. INTJ and INFJ share the same dominant introverted intuition and inferior extroverted sensing functions. But I see the world in much more of its mechanical form and less about the stories of individual humans that roams around. I see people engage in small talks where they take turns to politely listen to each other rant about stuff they couldn't care less about. I see people preaching their likes and dislikes without trying to have a deeper understanding of the system, its problems and inefficiencies. I see policymakers driven by political dogma instead of exercising practical wisdom. I see people in their self-serving nature, exploit the system and letting it fail while others work hard to preserve it.

It's funny, because this is true (I'm an INFJ and my sister is an INTJ), but in a lot of ways INTJs are more deeply emotional and better at helping people than INFJs. My sister can help people with her Te, which means that she can make broader plans that get the problem sorted out more quickly. My need to be genuine doesn't allow me to do that; I feel like I'm being manipulative, and I'm more about helping the person understand themselves so they can make the changes through their own decisions and power.

By the way I’ve discovered your channel not that long ago, but since then I really enjoyed your videos and gained a lot from them... thank you Lana and keep going!! 😊💪🏻

Yes,same for me. Sometimes when my parents or relatives go out.and they don't come back on time,I start to overthink and start thinking bad things that could've happened to them.

Thank you so much for this video. You just summarized the same thoughts and feeling that I go through daily as well. It is so helpful to see others think the same way. Those shots of the streets are so amazing. I could stare at them for hours just taking in the beauty of the people and buildings at the same time. Thanks again. It meant a lot.

Literally my thoughts throughout the day is 'what can I do now to make my life more purposeful'. Constantly thinking for the future, and never letting myself relax or unwind. Can be frustrating yet also rewarding so I wouldn't have it any other way 👌

As an INFJ, this video drew me in to take a look after countless others that failed due to my arrogance that no one understands me. No one really gets me. Then the intro to this video happened. You could, and i'm not over exaggerating, make a romantic movie or mini film with the amount of intricate ways you express. This... is what i'm going through... I see someone who does great work, with steel effort and commitment, and even if it doesn't yield them favorable results, i lift their spirits as high as they allow me. You have talents, pursue them!
