A fascinating visit to this shipwreck. I am trying to imagine the courage it took to sail with cargo or ballast over the Atlantic ocean to Florida in this vessel - and then to remember how much earlier Columbus sailed. The rest of my original comment deleted for privacy, my thanks for understanding. The pictures of the original vessel on your webside show a ship that looks a lot larger than the remains suggest. The drone fly-over shows the structure so well.

Eeh Lass, thar accent is nowt less than beautiful. Bless you for being so wonderfully and unapologetically Northern. I do miss the land of my birth. I used to set nightlines as a boy (early 60s) from from Gynn Square to Bispham, but know the whole coastline well, Blackpool to Fleetwood Bless you, you Yorkshire born lass, just as I am a Yorkshire born boy. I live in such a delightful surroundings in the South of Ireland, but there ain't, no place like home. Or up North lasses.

I had a knot in my stomach i did not think that you were going to make it back to the slope i thought you might have got cut off by the sea...the times i have walked on that stretch of promenade walking on the middle walk and on the grassy top a great walk , but never used to pay for car parking though.
