A real s**t show, Guernsey to Southampton on the Aurigny/Blueisland codeshare ATR72 G-ISLN

Was booked on the 1330 GR1324 Aurigny/Blueisland codeshare to Southampton. A catalogue of errors On way to airport I discovered the1330 was delayed 3 hours again like last week. Aurigny then put me on Gatwick GR606 at 1630 again. At the airport I was told there was a seat mix up on Gatwick. As a result of this I found out the Gatwick was running at least an hour late. Asked to go back to the codeshare Blueisland operated 1330 flight. This was done by the great Aurigny staff. Gatwick took off without me as I saw the Blueisland plane was landing. SO, I got to Southampton at 1715, rather than 2130 if I had stayed on the Gatwick. So Aurigny's seat error was very fortuitous :-) (THIS IS IN THE DESCRIPTION)

@@Radiosutch They need to set up crew bases in the UK. Nobody can afford anywhere to rent on the islands. Paying a decent wage would help too.

It is getting ridiculous - the island needs to be better served by air (and of course by sea) - businesses will exit the island if their needs can't be met .

Not getting any better. Cancellations every day and Blueislands won't pay a penny in compensation
