Definitely the perfect mix up of sassy and loving all in 1 lol. And can we talk about how you manage to remain so positive all while letting us know it's not always easy and happy days, you just somehow radiate positive energy and it shows in your children girl. I love Beckham. He is so special. He is fortunate to have such a fabulous mommy + daddy. Beckham is a strong little boy and it's so exciting to see how much he has grown. Rachel, First loved the video with the kids! Blakley LOVES her bother! They have a very special bond you can see it. I thought it was so sweet when Blakely shared her nuggets with Beckham. She tries so hard to included Beckham which is great for them and you and Hunter as well. When you were feeding Beckham his baby food, by mouth I was actually thinking he was going to take the spoon and bring it to his mouth. It also looked at times while you were feeding him whatever flavor baby food it was today, that he didn't care for it as he would put his his fingers in his mouth or push the spoon away those are all cues and his way of telling what he wants. I really think if you helped him with it, he would do it. While it's great that Beckham is picking up things with his fingers is great for fine motor he needs to know what no means when he throws everything off his try. He understands and knows more than you realize. Also, Beckham can hear you and he can talk , and he will continue to will continue to talk if you give him the chance or opportunity to do so. Rather than teaching him "All Done" using his hands since that is not needed or very "functional" for him, try working on teaching him to say "All Done! " He might AMAZE you just like he does everyday and will continue to do so! Beckham and Blakely are so cute and they are both so smart. I laughed so hard when Blakely said "Hey" when you could hear Beckham playing with his toy in the background. It was like she was telling him in her own way that he was making too much noise. It's so cute, how Blakely calls him Bubba and knows when he gets home. Beckham is an awesome little BOSS and it's okay to push him a little and it's okay for him to have a challenge every once in awhile. I love watch him figure out new things. He tries so hard and you can see it, but that's how and child learns and grows and that's true with any child. Go Beckham Go! Keep sharing and loving you big brother Blakley. Keep teaching him new and fun things. Hunter keep being the amazing dad that you are! You are amazing with both your kids as well as an amazing husband to Rachel, Rachel you are an amazing mom to both of your kids and you love them, but hope that some day you will be able to take a deep breath or a few and savor the moments with your littles and Hunter. This NOT a judgement of you or Hunter in any way at all, because as I said you're both amazing parents, but i hope and pray that Beckham will have some of the same opportunities as other little boys and maybe even some of the same as his litter sister. I guess what I'm trying to say is love and treat Beckham like your amazing little boy first and the rest will come! My friend Megan DeJarrnett is married, she also has muscular dystrophy. She and her husband Jake have two boys, one has CP and the other doesn't. Although Bronx has to have extensive PT, he is doing amazing things and doing the some of the same things as other kids his age. This is not a sales pitch, my friend Megan DeJarrnett wrote a children's book called No Such Thing as Normal, it's a wonder short book that is great book for all ages and adults alike. Hi house of Hughes I was just wondering if you ever take Beckham out walking in his wheelchair I have only seen him in the pram. I just thought it would be a good thing for him to not only get comfortable in his chair but also familiar with it. Love watching your videos 😊
