Hi, tiffany, I just really appreciate your sincerity when it comes to show you art process. I was feeling really down about my work flow and productivity. I was beating myself about the fact that it took me more than two weeks to finish a piece and I feel so much better after watching this video. I think I feel it’s hard for me to not be so harsh on myself because I all my friends work in other areas, unrelated to art, so I end up not having anyone to relate in real life, only artists online. Thanks for sharing even the hard times ❤

Burn out is real. Its really challenging to stay consistent with balancing out our lives. I almost think burn out is a very important thing to happen as like you said, it helps us take a step back and reprioritize things. If shift our view and refreshes our soul so we can create again feel more inspired. Life feels like its a series of being motivated, uninspired, burnout, to new motivation.

Hi!! I dont know if you're gonna read this, but I got to know your channel a few days ago and I noticed a HUGE increase of work that you do. You've gone from three bags being delivered in the end of the week to a whole new office and three pyramids of boxes and 700+ orders a week. THAT IS SO MUCH. You're doing amazing and have grown a lot on your own, I feel so happy and proud of you and hope you can look back at your old videos and find that powerful too! You already seems to be taking care of yourself and i hope that this will continue to happen. Lots of love!!

Hey Tiffany, I just want to let you know that watching others do something you've always been interested in and even somewhat envious of isn't just felt by you. I'm a visual novelist and alot of the time, I'm just behind keyboard typing inputs and code, so I watch your videos alot as a really good background noise but also because I like seeing other people turn their aspirations into an actual business. Your videos inspire me to keep working but also I'm a bit envious of what you're able to accomplish on your own. I hope to be at a similar level one day. Keep up the good work!!

girlyyyy thank u so much for this, i'm an extremely anxious person and being an artist and see everyone doing so many things being at the top made me feel very sad and anxious like i'm doing something wrong, that i don't practice enough, and when i did try to practice i had a block moment, i do have a lil shop too and i'm always wondering if the shop should be bigger and things like that, but i guess everyone has their own pace, their own problems, and when we are feeling down we need to step back, this is a great reminder for myself that i need to socialize more and relax a bit, everyone goes trough that. THANK U!!!

Thank you so much for sharing the not so great days and when you're not happy with your work... and just accepting that it was good enough to be faithful to the process. We're so bombarded on social media by everyone's successful days (and it is wonderful to celebrate success with people too), it feels extra bad when you're struggling to feel productive/ useful whatever society wants from us. It takes bravery to be this vulnerable, but I also really appreciate your sharing about anxiety etc. Thank you!! ❤

I think it's a sign of maturity that you have the self awareness to gauge that you are feeling burnout. One of the experiences of going through your twenties is realizing that you have limits. You can't do everything all the time for everyone. it looks to me that you are right where you are supposed to be. The next step is figuring out how to make the most despite your limits, and to figure also what you want, because working hard for something you aren't sure you want, is also a path to burnout as well, and it makes for lost time, and then presto! you are 40! It's normal to have desires and then to even experience the desires suddenly drop off. That can feel confusing as well. Having a spiritual practice that helps foster your self-awareness and your objectivity is the best insurance plan for life changes. I'd say you are doing great. You know what else??? I also do not think the blue underpainting was bad. I though that the splotchy blue dog was really cool and was sorry to see you white wash it. Wanh! 😩 Have you considered doing some more abstract art? That way you can't really judge yourself, but you can keep exploring with paint, shapes and colors. I think illustration can be a trap, because you have to be clever with your art. If you just make art, there is no demand to perform and be clever. My 2 ¢. Regardless, thanks for sharing Tiffany! Cheers, to being all ❤ Blessings and Gratitude, an Ocean-wide.

Thank you so much for talking about burnout! I'm just coming out of a 3 month burnout so i really related. I think this was one of my favourite videos of yours so far! As artists its hard to keep going sometimes because we're not machines. We need to be happier to create good art. I'm so glad you're taking time to enjoy life a little more. It reminded me to do the same

I’m still struggling to come back from the really long burnout I was pushing through at the end of last year, so I really connected to your thoughts on this Tiffany. As you were talking about healing one part of your life with another part of your life, that really resonated with me. I think I’d been unconsciously trying to do that- but not enough. I’m going to try harder because I need to get through this year without my studio going under. It’s a real challenge, it’s doubly hard to push through the burnout when your not even sure your work will be enough to keep your business alive… but even then, balance with life is so important. Experiences do add to your art- they are part of the process! ❤❤

Hi Tiffany - burn out is a major struggle that I have encountered countless times 😞. I would say I do actively keep my life balanced, but even with that I constantly find myself tired and living a monotonous day that may stretch on for weeks. I do work a desk job that forces me to think more analytically which is why I prioritize creative activities on my personal time, but even with that I find my personal activities become burdensome because I set projects and deadlines for myself. I’m currently coming out of one and gave myself a lot more room to act on a whim with hobbies. I still have my personal creative projects I like to complete, but I set no deadline for them as the fun of making them is the process and I don’t want to look back on this creation remembering the dread I endured during the making. However, I understand your art is your livelihood and income, so stake is different compared to mine - but I do hope you are learning to find ways to get out of this hump. And thanks for being open about burn out, it’s a constant event I think most people face 💕

I love your insight on improvement, social media and feeling paralyzed whenever you decide to take action. This specifically described how I've been feeling for the past few months/ years . There's an awareness that my art has improved overtime and will continue to improve, but sometimes social media becomes so overstimulating that it makes me feel that I'm not improving fast enough or I need to improve in a million things and I'm mentally burnt out by the time I decide to take up a pencil 😂.

Let me give you a tip about buying variegated plants with discount. Ask plantshops or green houses if they have any variegated plants that are not showing much of their colours anymore and if they sell them with a discounts. There is a huge chance they will sell that one to you as a normal one with a lower price and when you bring it home the change gives it a shoke and it is a high chance of it become variegated again. That is how I got mine. ❤

I feel this so much. I burn out so badly and easily. Part of me loves routine and likes having my brain turned off for the day and doing the tasks I know that I need to get done. I blame that on the autism. But there’s another part in me that gets bored with it after so long that I have to quit my job and do something else. I blame it on the anxiety and depression because if I don’t change I end up in a bad mental state. I haven’t found a way to balance it out. On top I have a strong sense of justice so I see all the bad that my bosses and companies I work for so quick and it takes a toll on me to just ignore it and I know I can’t change a whole corporation. But then again im not a social person and I have no friends in real life so I guess that might be a factor😂 but honestly I can’t hold a conversation with people my age or older because im in age regression and I’ve missed out on “normal” experiences growing up that I can’t relate with any topics besides dog grooming (my job) and my hyper fixations. Thank god I am in soul crushing debt cause then I would have quit and I only started this August!
