Time is a thief. Watching your videos is so nice, as it allows me to reminisce over staying home with my 2 sons who are now 14 and 12! Monthly shots are so hard on us, mamas! My pro tip is to schedule the appointment around a feeding. Have the bottle ready, so as soon as he gets his shot, you can swoop him up and give him it. It will soothe him, distract him, and when you put him back in his car seat, he will take a nap.

My baby just turned four months, and we have started giving her solids! She was definitely ready. It has helped her sleeping I think!

Love and appreciate your realistic videos! Great vibes with the music in this vlog! Jack is growing and so adorable! Being a stay at home mom is harder than anyone knows, unless you've been there (just like being a teacher!). You're doing great, and it's also tough being married to a doctor, as they have very long work hours. Stay close to your friends and get out of the house when you can. It will get easier as Jack gets older. Yes, four months is when my daughter, who had colic, got so much better.

Hi, Just noticed you making up bottles manually. Have you seen the automatic bottle makers. I life saver at night! you put your formula in the back and program the amount you want and it will make you milk at the right temp at the push of a button. No pressure. Just know my friends have found these to be lifesavers in the middle of the night :)

Reflux is a bugger for sure! My daughter spit up everything for a while, when introducing solids it got much better. She is now 15 and doing great. Yes, shots are so hard!!! I have seen video of a doctor that will do play with a needle free syringe all over the limbs and make the baby laugh, gets the baby used to being poked per say then introduce the needle and have minimal reaction. Maybe that will help next time. Just a thought. Thanks for your insights and sharing. You are doing great work with him.

I hope your baby does sleep through the night soon! My son is 21 months and he has never been a good sleeper. Still drinking milk at night but if I could go back I would set super low expectations for sleep! lol

Love that you are getting out and connecting with other moms! Have you tried a small cool mist humidifier for Jack's congestion? I'm sure you've explored all of this with your pediatrician. As a 1st time Nana in December your videos make me miss my little bud so much - lean on your family members as I know I absolutely love spending time with my grandson! You are doing great!

I don’t know if in America they have them but in Northern Ireland there is goat milk formula that is a bit thicker my sister-in law had her kids on a brand called nannycare it’s goat milk and did help a lot with their reflux

Hey Madison, Sorry me again. I'm just watching the part of the video where you talk of Jack's congestion. We had my son at 37weeks and he had exactly the same issues. We ended up sleeping him in his swing. Ours comes with a harness seatbelt ( does yours?) so he slept in a seating position but the seatbelt stopped him from rolling ( no issues with SIDS). It was a game changer. The motion also helped sooth his reflux.

hey! i know we all just want our babies to be happy and sleep well but swings actually aren’t safe for sleep. “Baby swings are a popular option to entertain or soothe a fussy baby. However, experts do not recommend that babies sleep in a swing. Sleeping in baby swings has been linked to higher risks of injury, flat spots on heads, blocked airways, accidental suffocation, and death”. the only safe space for a baby to sleep is alone, on their back, in a crib or approved safe space like a pack n play or bassinet.

Please please please don't nap on the couch with your baby!! That is one of the number one causes of accidental infant death
