BROOO MY MOM CAME HOME WHEN I WAS 6 YEARS OLD!! SHE CAME HOME WITH TACO BELL THEN POPPED THAT SHIT OUT. I remember getting these 2 men when I was like 5 or 6 snd it sucked because Megatron broke and Optimus primes body would split in 2. The instructions never stated that you needed to pull in that small black thing behind him for him to stop spinning. I thought for years I broke him until at school I looked up how to fix him. Man some frustrationing times those were

I think it's really important to remember this was in 2006. If you wanted a G1 styled Optimus Prime that actually had articulation your only other options were the Voyager and Masterpiece. This figure had it's place at the time, especially for the price point and size. I know it doesn't seem like much now but the Classics line was an absolute godsend and laid the ground work for Generations and almost all modern Transformers lines. Also you should be able to lock it in place. if you don't like the gimmick, you just lock it and never have to deal with it again

I had this as a kid with the DVD. Got it for my birthday one year, was my only Optimus and Megatron for the longest time and were my favorite toys. Despite their flaws, I loved them.

This was my father's toy back in the day. He doesn't want us to touch this toy back in the day because it was probably limited edition and maybe expensive as well. I was admiring this toy from afar and looking at the box with care as if this was fragile. That was when I was younger I don't want to open the box so I just view it as I open the lid only. This toy is still alive within one of our cabinets with its box. Unfortunately, the spinning torso is loose and I don't want to touch it anymore because it might get broken further. Though I got to play with this toy after I grew up for few years. This is the only G1 Transformer toy that I have and nothing more.

I remember when I was little I was living in a car with my mom and my sister. They both surprised me with this 2 pack and I freaking loved those figs! I took them everywhere with me, even though they weren't the best there were some of the most amazing figures ever to me. *THE FIX* I love my Classics. I have 2 sets of classics MISB complete, still in their Hasbro case boxes. Wave 1, 2 & the rare 3rd wave. It's a cool fig. Lousy head but there are replacements. We were supposed to be able to pull his action button out, and it would hold. It either wasn't in instructions & it works, or was and it doesn't. I can't remember. It's been nearly 20 years. I believe during production something was forgotten , or 'possibly' miss-assembled? I remember my comment in the thread was about 1996 PRIMAL, where no one knew you can hit the shoulder button to switch his arm beating on his chest, to swinging around his swords in opposite direction.

I still have them but a friend of mine stole the G1 Optimus and when he returned it to me he lost the gun and the truck pipes I'm thinking about buying it again just to revive old times
