My name is Yoshikage Kira. I'm 33 years old. My house is in the northeast section of Morioh, where all the villas are, and I am not married. I work as an employee for the Kame Yu department stores, and I get home every day by 8 PM at the latest. I don't smoke, but I occasionally drink. I'm in bed by 11 PM, and make sure I get eight hours of sleep, no matter what. After having a glass of warm milk and doing about twenty minutes of stretches before going to bed, I usually have no problems sleeping until morning. Just like a baby, I wake up without any fatigue or stress in the morning. I was told there were no issues at my last check-up. I'm trying to explain that I'm a person who wishes to live a very quiet life. I take care not to trouble myself with any enemies, like winning and losing, that would cause me to lose sleep at night. That is how I deal with society, and I know that is what brings me happiness. Although, if I were to fight I wouldn't lose to anyone.

We owned horses for years - they had distinct personalities and were very curious and intelligent. Ours were never locked in a barn, and I'm convinced that's why they never developed such disturbing self-soothing habits.
@laceandbits
@laceandbits Жыл бұрын
1:17 Usually because the horse is bored and distressed or has been in the past for a lengthy period of time. He may well also crib (wedging his top teeth onto a part of the stable and sucking in wind, if it's very deeply ingrained he may also do it on a fence out in a field) and or weave (swaying on his forelegs and weaving his head and neck from side to side). Once a horse develops this sort of habit, they have them for life. It may also be because he has some paralysis of the tongue muscles and has combined this with the above reasons as a new form of stable vice. Alternatively, if he was a retired race horse (doesn't look as if he is) he could have got used to his tongue being tied to the side of his mouth when racing - it is done sometimes to help them breath but I think this is the least likely as that wouldn't have necessarily taught him to do it of his own volition. Whatever the reason, it's not funny as it almost certainly shows a substantial level of stress and isn't something to mock. Doesn't even look 'cute'.

@@kurrent5848 My pony used to be at a yard where there was a retired racing thoroughbred. She was a weaver (learnt while in the racing yard) and her box was somewhere where the other horses and ponies couldn't watch her for any length of time as both weaving and wind sucking can be passed on visually. Maybe this is why it is more common in racing yards where the horses tend to be in their boxes a lot of the time (and can see the others in the yard) and therefore the potential for boredom is great. Our riding horses were turned out in the fields in the daytime pretty well every day and lived far more 'natural' lives.
@KadenzaKat98

I had a friend who had a horse that would do that! In most cases, it can be because the horse is stressed, or is still training with a bit and getting used to it, but in the case of my friend's horse, it was because he was just a goof, and would do it whenever we brought feed buckets into the barn.

The horse is displaying a behavioral variety of what's known as airing. Most experts agree that it's due to stress or extreme boredom. Another way they do this is by biting their stall and gulping air, which could lead to negative results such as colics and intestinal knots.

@@MrKingtyrant05 that's why as a biotech student I'm going to work on hormonal and drug treatments to get cells to repair dna better and restore telomeres so that we can live longer, but more importantly. We are healthy as we age. I'm fine only living to 100 if I still feel like I'm 40 the whole time. The technology is right there. We've already done it to a few mice and some privet labs have shown that it can be done in many other animals effectively. But apparently it's an immoral and unethical thing to do to mess with "gods desire" by making making humans live longer. They say what about over population. Well if a person wants tk live for 200 years they just can have kids until they are like 140 or something. It's not hard. We could add chemical castration drugs to the same pills that let you live longer. So once you stop taking them you can have kids and grow old naturally.

That moose actually wasn't planning to run into the cyclist, he just stands there intentionally waiting for cyclists to pass by so he can scare them and laugh at them when they fall over.

My great Uncle Jerry was with General MacArthur to return to the Philippines to liberate it (he found a photo of them storming the beach in a book, there’s no mistaking it was him!) Unfortunately he was badly wounded and caught behind Japanese lines and he was almost killed (they didn’t take wounded POWs), but they thought he was already dead. He was extracted when the Americans pushed into his position. He got a Purple Heart and an honorable discharge. He didn’t talk much about what happened, and before he passed he had a bit of a mental decline (he once left his car running in the garage all night until it ran out of gas… thankfully the garage was separate from the house.) So most of what we learned came at his funeral when his son revealed that book and his military papers.

I work at an old folks home and our monarch, miss Ruby, is just about 102. She survived a couple bouts of covid and quarantine with high spirits, and is one of the most talkative/mentally acute residents we have despite being the oldest. Her short term memory is there, she can connect and listen and hold conversation with nuance, her spirit is upbeat and happy. She pays close attention and directs help to other residents that are decades younger, a true angel. It's my honour to serve and to know you Ruby, may god bless you further.

There's a woman that's a good friend of my family, and she's 100 years old, soon to be 101. She remains physically and mentally very healthy, much more so than even plenty of people in their 70s. She's stays home with regular healthcare workers, and several local friends keeping up with her. She's in a position where she could simply die at any day, or live for several more years.
