I’m 21 and didn’t know many Eric songs at all until last week. Me and my cousin took my Nan to a concert and to say I was blown away was an understatement. My Dad is a big Eric fan. Eric and John played Hitchin folk club several years ago. My Dad wanted to go,so me,my brother and our friend accompanied him,taking the piss all the way. #JonHolford I was looking, reading and listening to Eric Bogle and John., Rest his Soul. It's so hard to say I have a favourite among his songs, because they are all too important to link them in a list. I love them all and heed the words of them all. First heard of Eric boggle when I worked in a pub where there was a sing song at the weekend in the seventies. He has enhanced my thoughts on life greatly and had a massive input into how I have lived it .met him at about a dozen concerts and thank GOD to Jim MC Mahon who sung no mans land that night and put me on the road to anti war.
