Hope you’re well Matt, mods, and all of chat and KZbin. Your randomizer runs are always so fun to watch. They’ve inspired me to try it myself, and I’ve done two random seeds so far. Both were hilarious and I loved how they tested my skill at the game. An entirely new way to play a game I love. Soon I’ll try Majora’s Mask. I’ve needed plenty of good distractions and things to keep my mind busy, so thanks for what you do. Much love and happy rando-shenanigans.

What Randomizer do you use? Is it the same one Myatt uses?

@@NekoRyuukiChan I use the “Zelda Speed Run” randomizer, and I cannot recall if Myatt specifically named the ones he uses. My memory is shot. Regardless, it has a ton of things you can do with it, including everything Myatt has tried (potsanity for example). You can use the randomizer and not have anything to do with speed runs, it’s just a well-built randomizer that is often used for organized races (i.e. “beat this weird-ass seed asap :D”). 9:40 honestly, it is not easy to make a great mac and cheese. It’s not hard to make mediocre mac and cheese, but i feel like there’s a pretty steep curve to get it really really good.

For the algorithms: what’s everyone’s favorite Zelda games? What about least favorite? I love OoT and Link to the Past; I hated Skyward Sword (first one I ever quit even though I was over halfway through, because I hated playing it so much that I was dreading going back to it between playing sessions).

Minish Cap was my first Zelda Game, it has a special place in my heart and I love playing it every so often. I cannot do OoT or MM, I am not good at platforming anything and as they are games that I did not grow up on, I don't have nostalgia for them. Funnily enough, I know them very well thanks to watching speedruns and randomisers, so I think I'd do well with them if I could play them! Link Between Worlds was very fun, and I love Skyward Sword for the lore (but absolutely get where you, and everyone else, has frustrations. The controls were not good with the Wii and it is very much a linear game). BotW and TotK I am in love with, because they do the open world WELL. It's not just a 'run 10 mins to get to this objective', it's a world where you can explore everything that is on the map, and no playthrough is ever the same. Twilight Princess I love but didn't finish, I had it on the Wii and it did not work well for me. If we ever get a remaster on the switch of the GC game, hands down will I go for it. I have not played any of the other games so I can't comment on them much, but if it's in front of me (and I did not pay for it, ie if I'm borrowing it or it's a demo or something) I'll at least try them!
