I have the hexarmor thornarmor gloves and they work really well. Just repotted all my cacti into bigger pots and not a poke.

Looks really good! 😍 One thing I noticed when I made my cactus gardens was the cacti didn't take up water because I planted them with hard root balls so the water drained out of the pots instead of soaking into the root balls. It might be worth keeping an eye on the cacti after you've watered them to see if they still look thirsty. I ended up having to up pot everything, water the cacti individually in a bowl to soften the roots but now they're happy! 🌵

During the pandemic I put three different types of cacti in a rectangular container and four in a round one. They’re doing alright but they don’t make me stop a stare like my begonia brevirimosa do. I like your creation. Very pretty!

Tip next time use tongs to repot and wrap the ends with plastic so they are gentle on cactus. 😂

you 4 sure safe a lot of space in creating a community pot, which we like. . .i do have one little "garden"fairy castle, peanut,piloso, echinopsis- because those plants are less important to me than the others (and it works out great strangely)- im keeping my dear to my heart rare cacti in neat terracotta- preferably "japanese style" and experienced them having totally different drinking cycles- from my experience the only thing i would never do is mixing up euphorbia and cacti- i lost a euphorb crest var. whilst the crested cactus companion ist still thriving 🤷‍♀🍀

Ouch! Repotting is messy, always, nothing that can be done to avoid it I think. I use tongs or towels to repot and handle succulents. I think it works better. I am not a big fan of mixing different succulents in one pot. I like to pot lots of succulents of one type, in one pot. Nevertheless I will not miss a repotting video. Great video, can’t wait for the next one. Adios!

Just a little advice, if you’re going to do a second one of this cactus garden. Use some thongs to hold the spiny ones and get you some better gloves. Because I know exactly how those little bitty things hurt so much more than the bigger things, meaning, like a cut, or a alley. But you did a beautiful job

Hey Lady! Why punish yourself. USE TONGS AT ALL TIMES. Their very nature of pokey pokey is why I'll never find joy in that Genera. You keep on knocking that out. You also have to get pierceless gloves or double up on the gloves. Happy Planting!
