A Relaxing Walk in the Rain at Dusk | Cheltenham Town Centre

Cheltenham is a very pretty town, even in the rain. Beautiful airy streets with buildings of various styles but which blend well together. In a street, you can have recent buildings and on the other side of the constructions of old style, even Gothic. Nice shops too. I noticed an imposing decoration at the entrance of a restaurant, for the coronation of the new King. A very pleasant town. Thank you OAAW for this pleasant walk 😀😀😀😀😀

Calming walk. Love the sounds of the rain and the occasional motor car. The is something to be said for the city and all its social life. We are social creatures after all. Thank you, OAAW! 👏

Looks like a perfect hour to record, it's all so serene. And that's a really nice rain sound on the umbrella paired with the calm city sounds. Now that I mention, I wonder what microphones you use. I sometimes record my hikes in nature or snippets of my vacations, just for myself, and I use the Sennheiser Ambeo earphone mics. They're OK, especially with a bit of post-processing, but I think whatever you use definitely sounds more rich, bassy and far-reaching. Anyway, thanks for another great video! A new favourite for relaxing.

Hello Yikes. Thank you so much for your comment. With regards to the microphones, I use the Roland Binaural mics. That is good that the bass is still noticeable as I roll off the lower frequencies in post. Should you post any of your hikes please let me know :) Thanks for walking with me. OAAW

@@OutandaboutWalking Thank you! I had considered them as an option, I just settled on the Sennheiser's because they had a major discount at the time. But now I know the Roland's sound great too! I guess I mentioned the bass because it's a bit like salt: if it's lacking you notice it, but if it's just right it just makes everything better XD And the sound in your videos isn't lacking in bass or anything, it's perfectly balanced. Maybe some day I'll upload my own hikes and adventures in nature :)

I was at this very spot recently for the opening of the video but I was lucky to have sunshine. The club with the bow on is apparently owned by a family who own a large property up by the hospital who put a big red bow on their house at Christmas which looks very good and Christmassy. The bang made me jump. As I am watching the sound seems to be out of sync but I'm not sure if that is the KZbins fault as I have had this happen on a couple of videos but normally when I refresh it works find but this time it didn't. I tested it on the KZbin app also and it isn't in sync there also. That Ivy decoration must have cost a fortune but it looks fantastic. I am surprised it hadn't been destroyed by yobs. I was starting to think I'm not going to spot the logo but I did at Barclays 😂. Excellent walk through Cheltenham on a very wet evening but very very enjoyable and I also love to see the town how others see it. 🤩

@@OutandaboutWalking Afternoon OAAW, the audio sync may not be an editing issue as I have noticed a couple of other videos from other channels with a similar problem so maybe KZbin themselves have a problem. 🙂
