Like you, I was very upset with the "Ministry is Ministry" article in the Adventist Review. I wrote a letter to the editor, but, before I sent it, discovered that letters were limited to 100 words. I realized that my letter--over 800 words--would probably be filed in #13 and never reach the editors. I shortened my letter to 100 words, but am sure that won't be printed either. I am troubled by the inroads that the unbiblical practice of ordaining women has made in the Seventh day Adventist church. My question for 2022 is: With today's gender identification issues, how will it affect ordination if the male seeking credentials had been born female or even duo-gendered? I myself strongly believe that God had not intended for woman to have the duties/position of men and I support the biblical view. I naturally thought "What´s the difference between a ministerial license and a ministerial credential?" Then Bhor gave an answer. ministerial license gives an ordained person the right to preach in our churches. ministerial credentials go to an ordained minister.

The big argument by the President of NAD is that as a Christian he has an obligation to speak out for women in church who want to be ordained, for he claims they don't have the opportunity to speak for themselves. Is he kidding? Adventist women have plenty of venues to speak up on that issue...and they have been anything but silent. And where in Scripture or the Spirit of Prophecy does it say that we must speak for those who have no opportunity to speak for themselves?

Ministerial Credentials vs Ministerial License All the same for me, when someone stands in the Pulpit to share, preach, give a sermon ,male or female, both ask the HOLY SPIRIT to guide them , to use them as mouth , as channels to deliver God's Holy words. Ordination? What does it mean in the Bible. Is there a difference hearing a sermon from an ordained pastor from unordained one. Is there a difference hearing a sermon from a male pastor to a female speaker? Is ordination some kind of special power granted by God to men Pastors. I am not disagreeing on these verses 1st Timothy 3:1-160 and Titus 1:5~9 , as a Christian who goes to church I feel blessed listening to sermons that are Bible based no matter who delivers it, male, female, ordained or not. If it is God's word then it Holy.

S HOW DID THE LAW COVENANT BECOME "OBSOLETE"? However, the Law covenant became in a sense "obsolete" when God announced by means of the prophet Jeremiah that there would be a new covenant. (Jer. 31:31-34; Heb.8:13) In 33 C.E. the Law covenant was canceled on the basis of Christ's death on the torture stake. (Col. 2:14), the new covenant replacing it.---Heb. 7:12; 9:15; Ac. 2:1-4. Thus, if a person insists on holding to the observance of the literal sabbath, he fails to accept the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the torture stake and thus rejects the forgiveness of sins that it makes possible. It is just as if he insisted on offering animal sacrifices after Jesus had offered himself the sacrifice for sins forever.

John S You may not have heard him correctly. He never says that women shouldn't be in ministry. What his point is--explained over HOURS of messages, not just this one--is that women ought not be in the bishop or elder positions laid out in the Bible. Read 1 Timothy 2-2 and Titus 1 for examples. Regarding ministry, women have been involved in almost every ministry available in the Bible, just not priest, bishop or elder. Those positions have been reserved for men.

@RevelationWithdaniel I heard him correctly, he is wrong about saying the bible doesn't allow women to be bishop and pastor and elder....you see, 1Timothy2:11-14 was about the women of Ephesus teaching false doctrine about Adam and eve and the curse of sin, (See 1Timothy1:3 as well). Look how Paul re-corrects the story of Genises correctly in 1Timothy2:13-14. This whole section was about marriage....THE WOMAN over THE MAN singular plural So when it said I suffer not a WOMAN to teach, it was false doctrine about Adam and eve. It wasn't saying women cannot teach that Gospel, since Acts18:22-24 showed one teaching Apollos. When he said he doesnt allow THE WOMAN to usurp authority over THE MAN, it was referring to Genises3:16 where the husband was given ruler ship over his wife as the curse before Christ came. Paul was simply telling the women of Ephesus not to twist the story of Geniuses and the fall that showed Adam given headship. Titus 1 did not say an elder or bishop must be a husband, it said husband OF ONE WIFE...this was correcting polygamy, which was saying how a man must not have 2 wives. Its funny how pastor Bohr forgot 1Timothy5:1-2,17 where it showed male and female elders doing doctrine. Also its funny how pastor Bohr didn't explain 1Corinthians16:19 showing Priscilla and aquilla leading a church ministry in Asia together. Its funny how pastor Bohr ignores a female deacon in Romans16:1-2. So again, there is no verse that said a bishop or elder is only for men, "husband of one wife" is not saying be a husband only. It means don't have 2 wives.

These are some questions. Did God set up or ordained women to be earthly leaders? Christ is the head of the church, But did he put women to be earthly shepherds? should the righteous law of the home reflect in the church, be in the church, played out in the church? what position did God put men in different from women? Dont you think that when a woman want to be like a man or to take the man place is of the devil? are women equal to men in position, authority? They dont follow the bible in truth. They have statues of saints that are of no importance. Their church was not founded by Jesus. Their interpre is wrong in Matthew 16:18. They got a lot of things wrong in their doctrine. Martin Luther posted 96 false doctrines that they even knew was not according to the bible.

David R Larson What exactly do you mean by "ministry"? As ordained pastors? Well if that is what you mean, it is rebellion against God's created function of man and women and their roles in the Church and at home. God forbid, we develop the mind of satan and covet a position in which was not meant for us to be placed in. That IS how sin first crept into the universe, satan uses the same attractive vehicle for womens ordination, through "womens rights", but this isnt a "rights" or equality issue, this is an issue of proper Spirit led reading of scripture. This is an issue of OBEDIENCE to God and His plan and will for us as persons individually, the family unit as a whole, and the Church and what roles and functions are DISTINCT to men and women (same as the family), as Christ created them from the beginning (Eden) to be.

I enjoyed all the types of information given in this video. I would like a Bible study done along the following lines. In Genesis 1 the inspired word says that God made man 'male and female'. Why did God do this... to provide a model that helped everyone understand God Himself and how God related to His creation. Both sexes illustrate God's part in our lives throughout the Bible. God is called 'He' because Adam had the headship role i.e. he had the commanding overall authority. Authority is a sore point with Satan. Satan (Lucifer) is a created creature who wanted to take over from Christ. He wanted to be crowned as a member of the God-head, which was impossible since he was a created being while the God-head were... God... eternal, omnipotent, life-givers etc. Satan's rebellion is reflected in this effort to make women (who represent created beings) to be pastors (model role of God) and is reflected in the homosexual issue (pulling God down to be like everyone else (gays)., pushing creature up to be a god (lesbians)). In a Roman Catholic cathedral in Spain there is a fresco showing the Holy Trinity crowning a female (supposedly Mary the mother of Jesus (God). This female is actually Satan in drag, the harlot of Revelation. Sadly it is evident that the main pushers of female ordination have no regard for the Bible or EGW let alone the GC. Both of these are regarded as irrelevant and outdated as a top SDA evangelist made clear to me about himself.

Thank you for referring me to this clip OurSword. Elder Bohr, I have a few questions. The first one being this, when you quoted elder Wagoner's belief on the headship at creation theology, I'm surprised you did not go into Patriarchs & Prophets chapters 2-4 which are directly opposite to this theory. When God pronounced to the Woman after the fall in Gen 3:16 that Adam would rule over her, please read the direct commentary from Mrs White in light of this from Patriarchs & Prophets p58,59. Adventist Home chapter 17: God's instruction to Eve. Please note this was as a result of love that AFTER the fall for the relationship to work between Adam & Eve she had to submit. I know you will see on the part that addresses Adam that as ruler. Please also read on p46,47 about this relationship & their identical job descriptions as given in Gen 1:26-28. My second question is this, if Mrs White a woman was the only person who ever received ministerial credentials when only ordained ministers get this, how do you then say women today cannot receive these? You did not address that point. In OT times only Levi males were officiating priests. There were NO officiating Gentiles. In NT times, gentile males who are baptized into Christ serve. Then we see the calling of Mrs White who by the way was ordained by God, even though she refused to be ordained by human hands. We all need to state all the truth in its entirety. Thirdly, the last time you responded to my question about pastor as a spiritual gift you said that is not the case, when in fact Eph 4:11 lists being a pastor as a God given spiritual gift. How do you reconcile such responses to the greater scheme of things. Please note I have not touched ordaining or not to ordain. Mrs White answers this for me, no one should be fighting over this either way because there's no special mystic powers that come over those who are prayed on by the laying on of hands ie ordained. In the book on the teachings of Paul, she states that for the Jews, the ordination rite was seen as of great importance as fathers would typically place their hands on those blessings were bestowed on & on animal sacrifices. This video still does not address the history of elder Samuel B(can't spell his name), former elder Pippim etc on who their sources of male headship are. I will email you the book written on this new movement if you haven't already seen it. True to what he says, my Calvinist baptist friends do not believe in ordaining elders, deacons, bishops, overseers who are female. Also note that no where does Paul give QUALIFICATIONs of a female deacon office. They believe from the same verses that EG White a woman who was more than a prophet a role previously held by John the Baptist, & Elijah should be given to a woman. Our defence to this they view as stick figure argument. My final observation is this, prior to Mrs White's acceptance of this call, two males were not available to take this position. Do you think this is coincidental? In response to this question remember she was "more than a prophet". John the Baptist whom Christ called his messenger who was more than a prophet, baptized as we know. Even if Mrs White never baptized anyone, her role was still the same as that of Elijah & John the Baptist she could have baptized, was not prohibited by God. Also remember to note the great pushback she faced in her days hence she went to Australia. It's only now that the church seems favourable to her role praise God for that. Blessings

Miller did not wanted to be pastor, Jeremiah did not wanted to be prophet, Elen White, Moses and many more feared but most of us "know that we have gift and we are able, and we feel this calling". It`s quite silly that the so called great man and woman feared but we, more degraded generation, feel smarter than all of them together. I`m not pastor and I do not want to be pastor. To deny the leadership of Ellen White in the SDA church is to deny Moses leadership over the Israelites . She holds the final word over every matter. Why was she the only woman with ministerial crediential when no other woman is allowed to have it. Wasn't she a female of the female gender? Did God make a mistake creating her female? She's a false prophet as well. The bible never said that the seal of the Holy Spirit is the keeping of the sabbath. According to Eph.1:13-14 the Holy Spirit is the Seal. We'll either believe EG White or the bible. Our eternity depends on it. I break the power of occultism in the name of King Christ Jesus who died and rose on the third day and now sits at the right hand of the Father.
