That is an amazingly beautiful machine that you built you should be proud that you did that with your hands ❤😎👍🏻✨

Really unique. One of the best restorations on KZbin. I can't imagine how much fun it would be on a tight packed dirt track or banked wood track. Thanks!

Wow you made a really job of putting that together, all the proper little touches in the right places! I built a prewar racer replica myself but have to admit yours looks way more authentic under close scrutiny than mine..

Looks like a Cragar high-compression / high-water-flow head on a Model T block. Those were fairly common on short, dirt-track racers from the mid-teens to the early 1930s, actually. People like the great Frank Lockhart started their careers with these cars. VERY nice restoration on this one.

Thanks The head is a Waukesha Ricardo dated 1917... I also have a rajo head but it runs so awesome I don't want to mess with it.

Model T or A frame unless i am mistaken, in the day those T engines used about 5.5--1 compression.

I saw your 'First Start in Years' video and then saw this. I love it. What a fun car. I have wanted to build a T speedster for a while. In the planning phase right now. Friends of mine keep telling to me build an A. I think I'll have to build both and will likely start with a T first. So you have a floor throttle?
@klayskoolstuff70392 жыл бұрын
Yeah I put a floor & hand throttle , check out my 1931 racer I built

Aren't grinding & cutting discs (ie: whiz wheel) made of something like friction clutch material?
@klayskoolstuff70394 ай бұрын
I think the friction discs are a lot softer
