The signature guitar effect is real, I wouldn’t have fallen in love with V’s if it wasn’t for a Corey Beaulieu KVX7, and the Ibanez S series with out getting a JIVAJR for Nita Strauss, it is an addictive craving I feel😂 I nearly bought a 7 string warrior without realizing it was a Dave Davidson signature, it’s great because like you said there would be certain models that wouldn’t exist without the artist. Great video as always!

Awesome demo of this KH they all look amazing. KH 3 is my favorite of the KH but all these arrows look incredible...good to see you dude. Loved the tones from the bone breakers they are my favorite active pickup.... creamiest leads from the neck and more dynamic in the bridge which is a surprise isn't it. That 20 percentage less hot but with dynamic makes them extremely versatile... Have a blessed day my brother 😎👊💯🔥🔥🔥🎸🎸🎸

I was looking forward to see this one. Great job bro as usual. As someone who has been playing V shape guitar for 14 years, I would say it is a most extreme comfortable shape for playing. I have owned 5 Esp ltd v shape, and they are fantastic high-quality guitars. I never looked back to the other shape for playing when you get use to it you can't play anything else. Bro, you have to try the arrow series too. Those are even more comfortable due to the body cuts. Definitely, you should keep this, bro. Keep up the great work.

Speaking of nuts, I bought a H3-1007 back in January, which was supposed to ship with a 'molded' nut, but to actually came with a graphtec XL. It was very high at the first fret however so needed taken down. Came out of the Korean factory and has stainless steel frets, which are also sharper than I would like.

FYI - this is based on the currently discontinued “SV” shape, NOT THE ARROW shape. Note the difference in the body betwen the horns on the Arrow is differently carved. The SV is the same shape as the Alexi signature, and the new Gary Holt signature. Great review btw :)
@GuitarCinemaOfficial10 ай бұрын
Thanks dude I did look up the dimensions of the Arrow/Alexi and they were almost identical but I take your point, the Arrow has a more bottle opener type shape at the wing join. I'm hoping to review an E-II Arrow soon so will refer back to this.

I'd say it's based more on the V-II in ESP catalogue, which is, at the moment, a ESP USA (and Custom Shop i guess) exclusive shape, excluding these Kirk Hammet signature guitars. Difference with the SV shape being the beveled horns on the V-II. Hope they release more of this shape in non-signature form.

All LTD 1000 series models since 2021 have stainless steel frets but for whatever reason, signature and special edition models around the same price point or high often don't. I have a 2021 MH-1000 that has SS frets and a 2022 Mirage Deluxe '87 that's nickel steel frets,.
@GuitarCinemaOfficial10 ай бұрын
It's an interesting debate the whole SS thing. I get why people want them. Personally I prefer Nickel as they nearly always play better out of the box but I get people want longevity when spending this kind of money. Perfect example is the review I'm working on at the moment of the new Jackson Pro Plus DKA, has SS frets but out of the box they are like sandpaper. I've recorded some audio of how loud the scraping is wait until you see the video lol
@dreammachine865 ай бұрын
@@GuitarCinemaOfficial I think with the higher end LTD models (1000 series and equivalent like the commenter above mentioned) it's stainless unless there's a reason for it to be different. I was looking up some videos of the kinda crazy Javier Reyes LTD JRV-8 model which is basically an 8 string Strat with a Floyd Rose! I believe it's the most expensive LTD at around £2500. Someone commented that it is disappointing not to get stainless frets on something that expensive, and ESP actually replied saying it would have been an artist choice. I guess it's the same with this Kirk Hammett V? I only recently got my first two guitars with stainless frets and they feel incredibly smooth to play, it really does make bending feel more controlled. But it also makes the guitar have a much more metallic acoustic tone, in the case of my Schecter KM-7 it's really noticeable as that has a brass string thru block in the back too. So I see loads of people saying we really want stainless frets as there is no downside but a number of benefits, but once you actually have some experience with guitars with different specs things don't seem so clear, with there being benefits and disadvantages.
@GuitarCinemaOfficial5 ай бұрын
@@dreammachine86 Good point about tone actually I hadn't considered that.

Gorgeous. Dumb and excessive in all the right ways. Did you feel like you missed having stainless frets on this guy? I imagine that might be a dealbreaker for some.
@GuitarCinemaOfficial10 ай бұрын
Haha you nailed it. Honestly if anything I prefer nickel frets, they nearly always feel smoother out of the box and I'm fortunate enough to have a big enough collection of guitars that I never need to re-fret. I totally understand why they are a priority to people though.

I think Epiphone’s latest offerings are on par with LTD, when you get a good one. QC on LTD is still far superior though.
@AWMJoeyjoejoe10 ай бұрын
@@doug1274I think that's the crucial thing, when you get a good one. You have to play an Epiphone to make sure it's good, see it in person, whereas an LTD 1000 series you could order online and be pretty safe that it'll be a good guitar.
