I learned a couple years ago that Dr Edwin Land was my cousin! His dad, Harry, sponsored my grandfather to come to America.

Another great (and helpful) review. Thank you. I also purchased the Now+ a few weeks ago but received a unit with a faulty metering system: every photo was overexposed despite efforts to correct the exposure. Fortunately, Polaroid replaced the camera along with three boxes of film. The new camera works as advertised but will not match the results you get with your MiNT 670-S. The app does give the photographer additional controls however, and in that sense, the Now+ is a major step forward.

Thanks James. I've read a few other reviews that mention the overexposure problem. Glad to see that Polaroid did the right thing.

There are now more options for the SX 70 with a new PCB and control with the use of a “dongle” or app. I have a MiNT 670 s which I love but I have another SX 70 that I am going to have refurbished and have the new PCB installed. The MiNT 670s has rekindled my love of instant photography.

I lost many shot with my preview "now", "step2" and so on, because the difficulty to get the composition I was looking for. What are they waiting to make it through the lense? And with a plastic lense it doesn't wanna be involved in fight against a glass one! Money comes and goes so I already own my MINT! Still learning and achieving experience. Denmark is a land where, if you don't learn how to shoot under xtreme conditions you won't never do it! And here lies the fun!

Hi José. I agree, it's hard to look back after using the Mint camera, as long as you can justify the expense. As I said, I think the Mint is well worth it! I suspect Denmark's climate is similar to here in Winnipeg...cold! It is a good test for any camera and my Mint does quite alright at -10° C. with some reasonable precautions.

Thanks for the review. Probably would be great to have a side-by-side comparison of the same pictures taken on both cameras

Noted! I will keep this in mind for future reviews.

Great review. I agree the Now+ would make a great affordable camera if someone likes photography and instant film but doesn't want to take the plunge of buying an SX-70. Inversely, if your money is burning a hole in your pocket there's Supersense's OneInstant film, which I'd love to see you review, if you can get some. My girlfriend accidentally let it slip I'm getting my first Polaroid integral film camera for Christmas, probably by tomorrow, and I really can't wait to go and shoot some polaroids

Thanks Noah, By now you should (hopefully) have that new camera. Have fun! It would be nice to try the Supersense film. As you said, it's rather expensive. I'll have to save up! David

@@WalkClickMake I have it now, and though I think my battery in the film pack is now defective the pictures I've gotten so far are great! Hopefully all things considered I'll have shot some more pack film by the time you're able to shoot some. Happy holidays!

Your reviews are perfect. My compliment. Will you buy the "polastudio power kit adapter 3.0" for your mint camera? What do u think about? My mint 670-s will arrive on Monday!

Hi Lion. I have looked at the Polastudio power kit. It looks tempting. I just haven't pulled the trigger and bought one. Soon maybe? Have fun with your new Mint camera!

I decided to invest in the 680 1st. I really love it but it is way to big when I don’t really need that bulk with me all the time. I definitely wanna get that 670 next
@WalkClickMake2 жыл бұрын
I think I agree with you. The 680 is definitely getting too large for my purposes, although I get that it is a great camera.

Hi there, I was wondering what shipping method you used to ship MiNT's cameras back to Hong Kong from Winnepeg/Canada? I'm from Toronto and a couple of my instax cameras may need to go back, any tips would be much appreciated!
@WalkClickMake2 жыл бұрын
I used Canada Post Xpresspost International. Ask if they will reimburse you for the shipping cost. In my case (my camera was brand new), they paid me with an equivalent amount of Polaroid film.

Can you see yourself on the App prior to taking photos?

No, that would require the camera have a sensor and a lot more electronics.
