Just purchased one of these its the CF45 with the LG compressor, my brother has been running the Cf45 for 2 years now almost nonstop in the summer with no problems. People need to be sure that there is air space around it so it can breath and not over heat the components.

Want one for my boat, to use exclusivly as a freezer at -20C +-2°. Do you know from experience, if it would do that on +30-35C?

That weekend we went to the mountains it was over +30. It performed very well in the heat

I have the cf55. The "freezer section" you mention isn't. It's either frig or freezer not both. Unless, they've updated their products and I have an older model.

You are correct in that. It is either fridge or freezer....not both.

I have this one and it's the fridge freezer combo, but I can't get the freezer part to get colder than the fridge part. Does this one do that or what? Anybody have any ideas?? Tia

The fridge/freezer can be operated as a fridge or a freezer, not both at the same time. If you want, turn the temp down to freezer temp and the large area will be freezer temp and the smaller area should be slightly warmer so act a bit as a fridge, according to what I’ve heard. Hope that helps.

Im wanting the arb zero dual zone. I want to spend a bunch less but it looks like this is a touch small for the fam jam. I wish they made a 73 because the price is killer.

Ya...it looks like 55 is the largest for Alpicool. The ARB fridge is a good option for sure.

Hi Overland Alberta.. I purchased an Alpicool C20 last year, after 2 weeks the socket on the fridge came out and one of the electric pin on it broke. Alpicool do not offered me any support at all and never answered to any of my Emails so I fix it myself. Whle on a trip this week the fridge got a F3 error and after reading the manual and did what they say the compressor never started again... It's a cheap fridge, don't expect long time life from them.. and certainly don't count on Alpicool to help you out, it's chinese..

I bought a BODEGA fridge and they use the same APP as Alpicool. They may have the same internal also.

I was recommending this cf35 Alpicool fridge but now after 2 yrs of use it now does not cool, Only a small part of the inside area has frost and I was told it most likely has a restriction. So I hope Alpi Cool sees this and will help me out.

Alpicool offer NO SUPPORT in case of problems.. My Alpicool C20 socket on the fridge broke and they never helped me out or answering back to me by Email.. It's chinese.. You buy and good luck with it pretty much.. After a year now te fridge got a F3 error and the compressor don't start anymore..
