A Review of the Xbot Chameleon AI Sports Cameraman

First off I really appreciate the video. I can't find many reviews other than unboxings that show the manufacturer's game clips or the reviewer tracking them walking back and forth in their backyards so it was great to finally find your video. Have you used this is a real 5v5, fullcourt, basketball game yet? I'm looking hard at getting this one - or the previous version - to primarily record my team's and sons' basketball games. My main concerns are how it handles outside actions outside of the court such as fans in the opposite sides of the stands and fans walking to/from concessions/bathroom. I have yet to see any legit consumer reviews with real basketball game footage. The manufacturer's videos look good but they are in closed gyms with no background distractions for the AI and, no offense to the players, but are playing at a slower speed and pace than my middle of the road 11U team lol. I can live with some glitches where it loses tracking every now and then as we have that problem still with a real cameraman.

Thank you for the comment, I understand your point. I have not had a chance to test this yet with a crowd on the other side. That being said, if it is a crowd like in a high school gym, I would think it would be fine. If it were an AAU type multi-court scenario, things could be more complicated. This scenario sounds like it would be a good case for the follow me feature to try to track individual players better. I am not sure if you saw my other video with the smart gimble? @ I did watch your other video too - but after this one lol. I’m in Alabama. We occasionally play in the multi court setup but most of the time it’s typical high school gym setting. And it’s youth level now so crowds are sparse except for in the smaller schools gyms.

Thanks for posting this. As a real cameraman i take offense to the name and it's certainly shoots like an amateur! Good luck with that.
