Hello from Denmark. Dude, im not even kidding. I fucking cried when i heard you're "overcome the dark". My mom died 1 year ago. She was found dead in a holiday house she was cleaning. I freaking miss her every day, and when i hear any thing remotly touching in melodies i just get sensitive and starts sharing some tears. when i heard the track "overcome the dark" i cried, for real. i fucking cried because of you. Its so emotional. Its weird to say that it reminds about my mother. but the track is just so well build up, i just cannot put it into words. When i hear it now, my hair on my arms starts so shiver and i smile. I smile because she brought a beautiful gift into this world. Thank you so much. Thank you for making me remember her every day.

The first part of the song has a good melody, but slightly stolen from "Devil In The Eyes" and so are the "super saw" chords. The voice reminds me of Blue (Da Ba Dee) and lacks a unique vibe. The vocal also sounds common and too happy for my taste. Very good kick, but a little plastic wrapping should be removed as well to give it even more soul. The second part of the song appeared way more unique and almost ignores everything I said about the first part. I envy your production skills. The more "ghost producer" elements someone uses the lesser interest I have. If this song is 100% self made It's a 8/10. If you used professional samples only it's a 7/10. If you had "ghost producers" produces most of the track for you, it's a no-go for me. Overall a nice track but slightly pop-culture fishy. Have a nice day! --- EDIT 23/9/2021: --- It would have been a 9/10 if the vocal would show more character. Perhaps slight aggression with the vibe of actually meaning what he sings. A 10/10 would be if the song was a little longer and overall more unique sound design. Thx for your reply! I very rarely post critically on a song.
