A Road Trip from Edinburgh to the Isle of Skye

I took a road trip from Edinburgh in search of the mystical landscapes of the Isle of Skye.
Visiting Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Mile before setting off on our journey, we travelled to Loch Lomond and through the Scottish Highlands on our way to Skye.
After a hundred mile detour we drove over the Skye Bridge and found our way to our campsite.
Once on the Isle of Skye we road tripped around taking in the unique landscapes of the Fairy Glen, Dunvegan Castle gardens and the Old Man of Storr.

Oh my goodness, so many people hiking around Skye. It was so quiet when we spent our honeymoon there in 1964. We stayed in Portree and as we were newly married we were invited to join a wedding party of the McKineses (probably mis spelt )with wonderful singing and dancing.

Great video, Isle of Skye is one of my favourite places in the world, a very beautiful island in Scotland and Edinburgh is so beautiful as well
