Cragcloud Hi, I climb in the Cairngorm mountains near Aviemore in Scotland. I'm hoping to get my first winter route in on Ben Nevis this year, weather permitting. There's a great Crag on the outskirts of Edinburgh where I live , called Traprain Law. It's great for an evening climb after work 40min drive from my house

Nice! 😄 I climbed at Coire an t-Sneachda a few years back. We did The Runnel, Aladdins Mirror Direct and Fluted Buttress Direct 😄 That was good fun!

@@Cragcloud Excellent!.... i know those routes too. I am very much a novice in Trad/sport/winter climbing. That's why your vlogs are amazing to watch. They fill my wife and I with ideas and places to go climbing next. We're off to Saas-Fee next year to do our first 4000m the Allalinhorn with the International School of mountaineering. Your vlogs will continue to fill our minds with inspiration until late we go👍🗻

@@Cragcloud Don't remember exactly, but the big tower, one of the easier routes. No topo nearby to verify what route, sorry.

Thanks for showing us another awesome location! :) I always feel like bringing a small rack on any multipitch even tho the guidebook says it's fully bolted, cause you never know! Haven't done that many sport multipitch routes tho, so it might just be a habit from trad:)

Haha, well I can definitely echo what you are saying! We climbed the Via Cinquentenario GAM on Sass Campiac, which was supposed to be a sport multi-pitch, but with two to four bolts on some of the pitches that is probably a stretch 🤔
