I was fishing at mill lane when the north lake was drained, the fence between the two had fallen over and i went for a wander round, the lake bed was mesmerising. Unforgettable experience.

I dropped into The Coralle swim after Chilly pulled off after a magazine feature just after The North re opened. On an overnighter I bagged what went on to be named The Snub Nose Common at 29lb 12oz. I also had a mid teen mirror and a 45lb Catfish that Mick Barnes was not happy I returned to the lake. Absolutely stunning lake the oozes history and mystique.
