I can’t understand what she is saying. I’ve been studying Portuguese for over 8.5 years now but I still can’t converse or read and I have to translate everything into English to understand. I’ve visited Brazil 18 times and I practice every day with my girlfriend who only speaks Portuguese and we’ve been practicing for over 5.5 years now but I still can’t understand her. I need to find a way to learn. It’s very frustrating.

​@@jecksonkandume761 I agree with you. I've been in Duolingo for 100 days nonstop for 5-30 minutes a day depending on my schedule and energy and I can follow this conversation even if I've got many words to learn. By 400 days I should be able to follow almost everything.
