This one was pretty easy. I even forgot to use the minimum distance of 5 - I just used the high/low/high/... - on the German whisper line, and had no trouble solving it.

I confess, after 15 minutes of being completely stuck, I resorted to watching your video up to 10:21 where you pointed out something I was totally missing in box 3. After that, it was smooth solving with a 34:57 time.

I ran into a little snag in this one... rewinding revealed a typo that I had followed through with. Fortunately, it was an easy fix and then I was able to follow through to the end. Nicely-designed puzzle! My time today was 11:29, solver number 594.

8:24 for me. Great puzzle, started with the kropki dots, the puzzle flowed from then on, no need for coloring as the killer cages made it easy to work the boxes.

Enjoyed solving this one but I don't really understand why there are only two-cell cages that sum to 10. This is a simple XV sudoku with no negative constraints.

I often don’t get the references Will injects into the puzzle. Maybe there is a cultural reference to the cage nature of it I’m not getting?

@@SudokuSleuth It could be a "cagey" theme, similar to the sudokus solved by Bremster. But, the thing is, one could have replaced those cages with X cells and the rules wouldn't have changed.

Perhaps Will Power is just making explilclit the equivalence between the two? Anyway, it makes for a lovely pattern. Also, it suggests a moral interpretation of the title that might get Sleuth off the hook with Mrs. Sleuth: that the "perfect 10's" in this world are not individuals, but rather the paired-off couples. So Sleuth in this puzzle maintains his Candide-like innocence. A lovely Sudoku - thanks!

12:07 to solve. After the initial break in, it was a difficult but amazing spot to be able to correctly colour the upper whisper line and this solved the puzzle quickly. Happy Monday!
