Glad it was a false alarm! Our friend's hunting partner hit his SOS on a goat hunting trip a few years ago. Our friend had fallen off a cliff! What a scary, stressful night that was! The weather was terrible, but the PJs were able to eventually get him out. A long difficult recovery from many injuries, but today he is OK. Garmin Inreach is a lifesaver! Bought my husband one that day.

Glad Mark and the guys are okay!!! My son is a cop in our hometown and His IPhone sent off an sos alert to mine and my husband’s IPhone saying crash detection scared the heck out of us and drove us crazy calling and texting him but he was in the process of arresting someone and hit it on accident so I know how you were feeling but he was fine too!!! Glad he is coming home soon ❤️

My husband used to go on hunts with our Doctor. So I lost my husband & our Doctor for 3 weeks every year. I had 3 little kids, had to work, manage everything at home. My husband got off the plane with 7 stitches in his head. They didn’t want to worry me. Fun times that I don’t miss. Never felt right without my other half. 😊

Lauren I can relate to your migraines and your scare with your husband. I've been through both and the intense love you feel when you think you may have lost them. The red button! When I worked on an army post, we had radios with SOS buttons and they drove radio control crazy because people would accidentally push them. The only time I ever got close to needing to push it, I rolled my ankle very badly in the woods about 2 miles from my truck in heavy brush. But I decided to push myself until I couldn’t anymore then call for help if I needed it. Made it back to my truck and got out of there. Ankle was just a sprain.

I understand your worries. Before cell phones my husband traveled to other countries for work. Time zones could make it two days or more between phone calls our three boys were my responsibility 24/7. It was always a great relief to hear from him and even better when he arrived home. To top it off, I am legally blind but the boys and I had a great system to make everything manageable. Hang in there! You are doing very well indeed. ❤

That is so scary when the unknown pops into a scenario. You don't want to think negatively, but the unknown has so many parts to it. I am so happy the guys are all ok. I am saying prayers for 1 more moose. That would make it last till next fall. Violet is so vocal now, and it is so cute. I thoroughly enjoy your channel & family! My husband is a hunter as well. I always worry. Especially when he’s putting up tree stands. Luckily he has a buddy he is with while doing these tasks. I’m so glad your honey & his crew are safe!! I am praying they get a second moose. We also get most of our meat from wild game. It’s so much better. Lauren, I’ve prayed for you for a long time.
