I haven't finished the vlog just yet but I needed to take a moment and just say that the emotions that most of us (black women) felt was so overwhelming. I didn't understand why I was experiencing such an overwhelming amount of emotions. My work day was bad (I do work with a lot of Trump supporters) and I decided to take time for myself that night and just refill my cup. With some of the conversations and comments being made about women and our "choises" it helped me to close the door on a person who I thought I could trust, that along with some other things. Psalm 46:10 is keeping me positive right now.

Maya I too woke up on Wed Nov 6th to a reality that felt like a reoccurring nightmare. I cried in the morning and had to constantly stop myself from crying throughout the work day. So thank you for letting me feel seen while you shared your reaction. As a believer in Christ it was so disturbing to see how many so call Christian’s chose capitalism over compassion and willfully endorsed a person with the most unchristian qualities (racism, sexism, bigotry, homophobia, xenophobia etc.) it’s good to hear someone who proclaims Christ is truly committed to living and loving people in his principles ❤️

I'm from the Caribbean as well. I wasn't going to go to comment. But reading your comment made me comment as well. I also feel that it's not about Misogyny but rather more about her policy. The Prime one being about Woman's Rights, " My Body my choice".. yet this only spoke to abortions. Because that same woman and girl were crying out when they had to share bathrooms with men, while they had to succumb to getting beat up by men in sports, and mandated to take Cov vaccine. No outrage there. Second, was the border, all countries have rules and regulations as UT relates to borders. If an influx of people swarms your country, how can it be sustainable?
