Hey Dale… awesome to see you back on the road and out in the bush mate.. and like a lot of people are saying mate don’t worry about what any other smart A tells you what you should or shouldn’t do.. you do you and when they all have to go back to work mate, you’ll be still out there cruising, fishing and kicking the ball for Dodge👍👌 be safe, Sandy

Thanks Sandy, i definitely don’t worry about what people say towards me in a smart arse way…like you said, I’m in my happy place 24/7 :) It’s more when I see people telling others what they need…

G’day Dale. I have lots of mates who go camping. We all have completely different setups according to our preferences. What suits one may not suit another. I like yours but it’s different to mine. And that’s how it ought to be. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for showing your setup. The swag on the roof is something I’ve been thinking of for my teenage son (rest of us in a camper) especially if travelling to areas where it may not be so safe on the ground. Great food for thought. Will go find your other video on that install.

As beautiful as it all is it also seems like a story for a man who is in pain. Too good to be tru. You sir are living a fairy tale of most men's life the way they would like to be.

I wish more man/women could experience this way of living.. I was fortunate enough to set sail before making any rash decisions in me earlier days of the so call “normal” way of living.

Mate. I love that setup. Such great ideas. The rooftop swag is a fantastic idea, and much cheaper than a rooftop tent.

That's so true lad, what suits you is the only way to go. No one knows you like you do. Throwing some idea's around can trigger an idea of your own. Seeing what you do has given me idea's for something similar but suits me. Must be nearly time to slip you're chef's hat on again for another cook up!😁 Cheers lad, keep well and stay safe.🍺😎

Cheers youngster, I’m in the middle of multi-purposing my rig and I appreciate your ideas and honest feedback on the changes you’ve made and the products you use. There’s a lot of beers (thinking juice) that goes into trying to get the most use out of what you have and your spot on when you say what suits you may not suit another, everyone has their own preferences.

No worries mate. Setting up or readjusting is a great felling I say ay. Yep, ya right, there’s been many times I sit back at camp with a cold one and just look at the set up…. Seeing what else I can do or what will work better. Have fun with multi-purposing your rig.

Love ya vids mate!!👍 shit i was just watching a bloody video on the oztent rs1 swag before i watched this vid, and thought it would be perfect for your rooftopper as it opens side ways towards you and wont be as difficult as a normal swag set up, anyways, food for thought brother, loving the set up🍻
@Thecampman_Camping-Australia6 ай бұрын
Cheers mate. I have seen them swags, great idea ay. Id just be worried about the high winds, and it having a flat edge and being up so high. And I’m liking the width of this swag, kinda in between a double and single. I just don’t like the swag poles on these. Cheers for the heads up mate.
