I enjoyed The White Queen. They could have made it into 2-3 seasons since they pulled from three books (The Red Queen, The White Queen, and The Kingmaker's Daughter). But since large portions of the books run concurrently it makes sense to condense it.

And the coolest thing is that she is a witch. In the fairytale, the prince always picked the princess against the witch. But, it is obviously the smartest prince will pick the witch over the princess.

I rewatched it a couple of times because it’s so enjoyable. My favorite of the three but I really enjoyed the Perkin Warbeck story in White Princess.

Commoner is anyone who is not a peer of the royal family. Lady Diana prior to her wedding to Charles was also referred to as a commoner even though she was born from an aristocrat family. When he was given the title Princess of Wales, her status changed.
