I like Kalos even more because the additional plats offer more recovery mixups to avoid edgegaurds and just getting on those plays can allow me more options to avoid a ledgetrap

This actually shows that steve might be broken, but not as broken as Brawl Meta Knight or Smash 4 Bayonetta, that both characters have no losing matchups in their respectful games. Compared to Steve that is losing against pro players that are learning the matchup

The difference between brawl mk and steve is that a lot of the ult roster at least has tools to work in the matchup, despite the fact that imo steve is a better character than brawl mk, just a lot of it being the games they are in

Steve is on par with Brawl MK but both are way way better than Sm4sh Bayo. Sm4sh Bayo had a handful of losing matchups and a LOT of even ones while the rest were slightly/hard winning while Steve/MK had winning matchups against over 90% of the rest of the roster and the other 10% are usually considered still slightly winning or even at worst.

@@swordflightning2152 That's cap, Smash 4 Bayo literally carried bad players. There's not even 3 top level Bayos from 4 that are good at any other game. Steve players have shown that they can play other characters mostly because they didn't like being called carried, the best Meta Knight was M2K a God of Melee. Neither Steve nor MK could carry bad players to a top level, while Bayo made 0-2'ers into top 10 players.
