19:10 i had the complete opposite reaction to that guy. I was glad they were taking their time and diving more into clark as a character and letting the audience really get to know him instead of just rushing to the death part. If you don't care about him as a character, why would you care when he dies? That's like writing 101. Honestly, he felt more like a character in this movie than ANY of the other movies where he's mostly just a punch machine.

There was an older comic where Doomsday beat tf outta Darkseid. Of course, it being older it was before whatever comic issue where Darkseid has different avatars while his true form exists somewhere else. I see debates about that being canon tho

doomsday is near immortal killing machine ... but he cant beat darkside darkside stomps mid ..diff .. however if darkside take to long to beat him..this fight gets harder and harder because doomsday main power is adapting his opponent power and abilites that will make him more powerful and more resistance to attack over time,eventually his opponent attacks will be no longer effective if we assumed his opponent still alive at this point..remember that doomsday killd suprman in his first fight with him..and this is insane..and doomsday is getting more more powerful after each fight or death by the way..
