"A Sail in The Surf" a Hobiecat film

I managed to come across a few VHS tapes of Hobiecat films and digitized them with the intent to preserve the footage. I am sure some of these can be found elsewhere but having duplicates is a good idea. I do not own the content, just preserving the Hobie way of life.

14 ft Hobie in the surf with my best mate Doug who’s boat it was .. NSW Australia is it nearly fifty years ago .. ? Im blessed with the memories .. so good to look back .. all the experiences ,all the people you meet are the sum total of who you are .. how lucky I feel , 79 years still going strong .. thank you everyone ………

Thanks for sharing this. This was the original footage for the promo film for the 14. Most of this footage was used in the film for boat shows and dealers. Great memories...

I lived on beach road with my Hobie 14 that's when it had waves. Good fun
