Organized by Juanita Hardy, co-founder of the Millennium Arts Salon and Board Chair of International Arts and Artists, the program featured Mel Hardy, MAS Co-Founder and Peace/Art Activist, in conversation with Renée Stout, a renowned DC-based artist. Stout discussed her work “The American Way,” which is featured in the exhibition “Democracy in the Crossfire: Art, Identity, and Resilience,” which is on view at Hillyer during the months of July and August 2024.
