I remember the geek video you made years ago !!! :) And to answer your question, Jam is generally made of crushed cooked fruits with sugar, not filtrated (you can find some seeds in it) Jelly is made of fruit juice, cooked with sugar and stirred until thick, filtrated (no seeds or anything in it)

After some googling, jelly is made with syrup or fruit juice and jam has actual fruit pieces in it. I like the texture of jam more than jelly, so I'll have to go with the PB and strawberry jam for this! A 6-pack on Amazon goes for $18, which is a bit steep, but pretty expected for that kind of stuff, IMO.

Jam and jelly are nearly identical. Jam is just jelly but is more solid because it's not artificially thickened and can clump due to its use of actual crushed fruit components, whereas jelly is just the extracted juice with sugar and pectin. A good way to remember it is that jam is like you "jam" a lot of things into jelly to make jam. Even though jam is thick, it tends to run more heterogenously, that is, it is less of a consistent spread; however, this is not to be confused with preservatives which includes chunks of fruit, typically sliced and chopped. A good way to remember this is like how you can buy orange juice: no pulp, light pulp, pulp.
