Thanks Tracy! Was a hell of a trip and I loved every second! Maybe not the 12 hour drive home though 😆

Its nice to see them using a natural sea lice killing system rather then using chemicals . Another awesome film thanks , Jim

Check out Wildfish and find out about Farmed Salmon, it's not good. The need for catch and release on Scottish Rivers is likely due to Salmon Farms in open waters and high burden of sea lice from salmon farming and the pollution. You have let Wester Ross use you for their publicity machine, The rest of what you produce is excellent, don't let this get in the way mate! Not a good place to be, Read the book " The new Fish" from Patagonia.

Thanks Ian. I’m really keen on exploring all of this more. I know that salmon farming in general has bad press and is seen as ‘bad’ what I wanted to do is see it first hand and have some experience from their perspective. I would love to see and hear from the the other side as to why this is so bad but nobody has come forward. What I loved about Wester ross was that they are proud of what they are doing and we’re very happy to show me their way of doing it which seems to be better than other methods. Clean water lice treatment, natural ways of cleaning the nets, the white fish trim used from our food chain in the pellets, that all seems good to me but I want to see more and make up my own mind and show both sides of the coin. I hope this doesn’t offend anyone or cause me problems as it’s just an exploration journey of what I’m presented with. If you have any contacts that can speak to me or ideally show me then I am all ears and microphones. What I won’t do is only hear one side. I can’t believe that all practices are bad, surely there are some good eggs out there that agree with what the bad practices are and want to change them. I hope that this will lead onto something else. Anyone else reading this can contact me on alex@huntergatherercooking.com

Sorry one more thing… if there is something wrong here with what is being said or shown then I want to know what it is and why.
