The "production line" was used by Crossley in Manchester for their vehicle and gas engine manufacture, which Ford visited and took note of.

Now though Ford make no vehicles in the U.K. only diesel engines at Dagenham with most of the Dagenham plant pulled down and the former European headquarters at Warley converted to apartments.
