Bro, just curious if you have tried selling golf clubs in the past. A full set and bag can fetch decent money. I love getting them because Pawn stores will buy them 100%. It would be cool if you did some garden tutorials.
@PolyProphet2 жыл бұрын
No I’ve not learnt golf clubs yet. I’ll get around to it though. Haha not sure if It’d be tutorials or how not to garden 😂

Would you ever be able to quit your full time job and just scrap exclusively? What industry do you work in full time?
@PolyProphet2 жыл бұрын
Yes definitely. I work in e-commerce dealing with electronics and textiles. I work online from home 🙂

@@PolyProphet congratulations that sounds like a great job. I definitely enjoy watching your videos I think you are super knowledgeable, the only thing I would add is sometimes as your collecting items from a pile I’m curious as to what type of metal your grabbing or what the item is and why your grabbing it. Just a suggestion, you have great content and I will continue to watch regardless.

@@mountdesertrock Great suggestion mate! I’ll try my best. Thanks for watching 😁

Question I notice you normally bypass the golf clubs? Is there a reason why? I have always picked them up my yard seem to love it when I bring them in an I get a separate rate for them.
@PolyProphet3 жыл бұрын
Yeah you’re right I generally don’t pick them up. I think because they’re light but I didn’t know yards pay for them! I must remember to ask my yard next time. Thanks Wayne.
@freedomfighter89582 жыл бұрын
Better to sell them on market place if they're half decent you'll get $50 minimum If not you'll get easily 20 bucks especially in Melbourne

I’d love to do some trash picking in Australia. I’d especially grab that Xbox 360 so I could play PAL region games on it. Over here in the US we only get NTSC Region games.
@PolyProphet2 жыл бұрын
Yes I hear ya. I’m sure there’s a few ntsc games I’ve wanted to play over the years 🙂

What do you use for your allergies? I take pseudoephedrine in the morning, and loratadine in the late afternoon (using only generic names, not brands). That seems to do the trick for me (I am as bad as you). Stay away from nasal steroids, tho. They'll just make the matter worse in the long run. Good luck, friend!
@PolyProphet8 ай бұрын
Agree with the steroids. I try to avoid but peak spring if it’s bad I’ll take a Claratyne in the morning too

I finally finished watching all your videos with this and watched part 2 again. I really enjoyed them. I love your country's hard rubbish days. I noticed you have 99 subscribers too! If you do videos of breaking down the eWaste then they'll flock to your channel. 👍👍

Thank you for being awesome Barry! I can’t believe that amount of people are following along. It’s outrageously amazing! I definitely will pop the camera on and give the breakdown videos a go 😊

Nice finds there, I did a bit of skip (dumpster) diving when I was a younger man and we don't get stuff on the side of the road here in the UK.
@PolyProphet3 жыл бұрын
Hey Roy, I guess because of how fortunate we are with stuff on the side of the road, I’ve never been skip diving before. I would probably be in there if I lived in the uk 😊

Yep, cutting cords and picking up 15 cents at a time. That's the road to riches!!!
I translated this and although it's hard to make complete sense of it, it seems positive. 'If you want to pick it up, pick it up with your heart and work hard. How much can your cargo card hold? Take it and leave, sort it and wait for it to go home. It's better to go home and be an old man if you don't want it'. 謝謝
