A Sears Roadtalker 40 with really great receive restored and put into my collection

I've been going through my radios and cleaning up the ones I want to keep and the ones I want to sell. This super great talking and recieving 40 channel AM base will be put on my shelf of restored radios.

I have my D42 that I bought second hand in 1984. It was my 1st in mobile radio I owned.

Sho 5080 pll same as tram d42 of cobra 32xlr . Probly was kavk info on AMC limiter so they had cug z fes times to find if . But best to use resoldering braid.

I have a sears roadtalker 40 but it looks different than yours. Mine has5 knobs plus the channel selctor and then 4 switches and 5 led indicators.

Mine also has a built in mic, that someone modified to a 4 pin jack and it has a hard to find replacement 12 volt power cord.
