Just wanna say that after getting into Invincible a ton over the past year, your podcast has been one of my favorite things to listen to/watch while passing the time, especially as we're in the most anticipating wait period for the new season. Thanks to you guys for keeping this up and making fun content for my favorite superhero show and favorite superhero comic series! Also also: you guys were asking about Fightmaster and Dropkick in the Multi-Paul scene. In the trailer, you can actually see one of the twins punching Mark in the background of the shot where Multi-Paul first appears. So yes, they are going to be there!

I get unnaturally furious when people complain about the animation in the show. It’s not a fucking anime. It’s not fucking Arcane. It’s its own thing that is supposed to resemble Saturday morning cartoons of old. Yes, maybe there are some inconsistencies with the background characters in a high school cafeteria but it’s mesmerizing when it needs to be. People who complain about the animation quality just want everyone to know that they watch anime. If you have that much of an issue with it, please show us your animation reel.

I mostly agree, but I do think the Thraxa fight was still lacking a bit in terms of animation and overall brutality and criticisms of it are valid. The Conquest fight is going to be a major test for how far the show is willing to go compared to the comics.

Honestly the Thraxa fight wasn't like it was in the comics yes but it's not that important as the stuff that goes down in season 3​@@nickwittednonpareil

I doubt it with an early February premiere. I'm still holding out hope for a Rex Splode Christmas Special though.

@@nickwittednonpareilI don’t think they’re doing anymore specials because of the time between seasons has been reduced. Cecil’s Origin was another pitch (by the community anyway) for a special, and we see hints of it in the trailer. I’m willing to bet we get something similar for Rex in that regard

@@vector9586 That's a definite possibility, it just feels like it should be its own standalone thing just like it was for Eve. If Amazon was smart they'd just commit to a full spinoff series of Origin Specials produced by a different studio and released between seasons.
