Excellent team work, so interesting right to the end with the caves exploration. To far for me to travel there but the quality of the videos do better than my own eyes. Thank you again both 👍

Lots of recent slips have occurred and there’s plenty of fissures on the top ready to expand as you can see with your drone shots as you went across the cliff top. Great footage as usual from yourself and your good lady and the next few months are really going to be interesting, can’t wait to see your footage from Timothy 👏👏👏👍

Great footage mate. Looks like the erosion is taking another route. Very concerning

Cheers buddy, I think we're going to see quite a bit of destruction over the winter months. The areas after the defences are getting serious batterings all down the coast. It's fascinating to document, as you know. 😬

15th to 21st Oct are the next very high tide surges at 5.2 meters. I reckon that is when this and other areas will collapse and let go as the mud base gets washed out. If I was in any one of those dwelling atop that mud cliff; I'd be having it relocated and asap. We also have the storms, rains & winds heading our way off the hurricanes and weather fronts battering the life out of the Southern US states. I've now stopped using the car park at Mappleton as that collapsing into the sea is no longer an if but a when and knowing my luck it will be when I am using it.

My granny from Withernsea told me in the 70s about the old Hornsea that had already been taken by the sea. I wish I could ask her what she was talking about. Anyways, nice vid and flying skills. Whats the music? I like it!

There are avout 30 villages, including Hornsea Burton and Hornsea Beck, that have disappeared since Roman times.

At least there will be no structural damage as all these mobile homes can be moved.

I was more concerned about letting people be aware of the unstable nature of the cliffs. As you saw, one fella walking along the top right to the edge. If he saw what I did he would have been a little more cautious.

Most of East Yorkshire will end up in the sea as it is made up of boulder clay dropped by the glaciers. I think the boundary will be about Castle Hill curving round to Flamborough. No-one cares except the residents on the cliff edge. Phil.

It does feel like no one else cares apart from those directly and imminently affected. I've begun to take more notice as I've got older. 😜

WHAT HAPPENS TO HOILDAY HOMES? Went a few years ago and cliffs were due to collapse then and really scary standing at cliff bottom .river bank has collapsed where i live and i was looking through a gap in the trees at the river and thought how come i can see the river i could not a few days ago and then saw the land slip. really dangerous because it is near a viewing platform and the storms last year saw the area near the landslip collapse and river bank you can see the erosion. yesterday saw some workmen who might be fencing the area off so someone might have reported it or it has seen more land slip into the river. wish i had a drone to film the area.

interesting but do you have to have that silly repetitive music
@timothystravels8492
@timothystravels8492 3 ай бұрын
I don't class that track as silly or repetitive, I wrote it using the emotions which I felt whilst examining some devastation caused by the sea. Music is different for different people. I write all my own music as I am first and foremost, a musician. Just use the volume control, that's what it's for. 😁 Davey
