It's a pity that Niantic didn't decide to visually implement all these biomes (which have been in the game for a long time) on the map, but only in the form of a background when catching. Because when it comes to the map, they only changed the colors and added tiny bushes. I'm dissapointed.

I'm still waiting to see if wiglett is in waterfront areas like lakes and rivers, or if this is only along ocean coasts (asking for the 99% of the country that doesn't live within walking distance of Santa Monica). Pretty good spawns the last 24 hours (e.g. machamps and charizard, saw an azelf on the nearby screen, and even caught a wild frigibax yesterday).

I asked Poke Daxi this exact concern & he said near “any body of water”. Walked around a lake for like 2 hours earlier, saw mostly Rufflet/ Oshawott 🤷

I was at a (lake) Marina & Beach yesterday, and Boat Launches along a river today (both with Pokestops and Gyms specific to those locations there), and I saw no Wigletts. I was at both locations for a few hours each.

I've driven by several riverfront areas and along the Chesapeake Bay today. Haven't seen wiglett on the nearby screen at all, even though I've definitely seen beach biome visuals on the catch screen. We're a couple of hours away from real ocean-facing beaches and go there a couple of times every summer, so I'll get one eventually, but not for a while I guess. My condolences to my Nebraska relatives.

I think an update this game needs is more adventure affects. But it,s weather based. Like in the main series games theres like sunny day and rain dance and hail etc, I'm in arizona where the only weather we get is sunny. I feel like it would be a major improvement if say it was kyrem raid day if I could use 100 candies and stardust for on like abomasnow to make it snowy weather.

If you hit evolve and don't have enough candy, but do have enough rare candy, it'll prompt you to give rare candies and evolve at the same time now. It saves a decent amount of time.

EXTREMELY close to launch my friends would go to City Island in Harrisburg PA specifically because the entire island was known for being covered head to toe in water types. I think the biomes thing is taken from the Monster Hunter Now, as is also made by Niantic. And the new biomes kinda "break" the shiny sparkles as they clip / hide behind the new floor texture... If you look at 1:13 and can go frame by frame you will see it. But the new biomes look awesome, sometimes a bit laggy and takes and not showing it properly but that may be my phones's fault. At least is better than the avatar thing xD

The overworld update is cool and all…but I’m still waiting on them to make shinies visible on the overworld. The sprites exist, because if your buddy Pokémon is shiny, it is shiny when following you. Just wish I didn’t have to click on every single Pokemon to confirm if shiny or not.

Also I've noticed if a certain pokemon spawn for others that spawn will be a different one. For example my girl had a charmander and a shellos. For me it was a charmander and illumise. It's awesome but if there is a call out on discord for a 100% IV it may not be that for everyone. Can see a higher difficulty for sure

I actually love the new backgrounds and makes hunting pokemon more enjoyable. However, I hope one day Niantic will create and even more immersive experience. Instead of a map where your avatar is walking around and you have to click on a pokemon to go into tge catch screen, you use your camera to see actual pokemon in the space you are in and just swipe pokeballs to catch them, ala Legends Arceus style. And the pokemon could interact with the objects shown in your camera, like hiding behind a box or rummaging through a trash can lol.

Next potentially update in Pokemon Go will be Team Rocket Go grunts will give a gift to Pokemon Go players unlike Mateo was exchanging gift. Pokemon Go players will receive gift from team rocket grunts once a day. These gifts were randomly at any side of the world. Then players need to tap the pin gift, once it reaches 15 pinned gifts in the same type Villion region. A SHADOW Scatterbug appears.
